Quality Inn Coralville - Iowa River Landing

Attendant was very nice. Let us check in early with no problems. Location was very close to Kinnick Stadium. Bed was comfortable and room was good size. The price of the room was high, but that was to be expected as it was a Hawkeye game on the same day. All other hotels were comparable priced.

Property was visibly dirty and things have not been maintained or updated. Smells throughout the entire hotel. Staff were nice.

Since it was just me traveling, it was okay. I made due with what I had. I didn’t have the breakfast since my appointments that I was in town for said not to eat. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable for me (I have a bad back, firm bed was good for me, pillows were pretty good too for my neck), the refrigerator was left open before I got there (looked like it had been defrosted). The bathroom was really small, to use the toilet I had to step completely in the bathroom almost to other wall to shut the door. I went to run bath water and the top of the tub plug was missing so I couldn’t tell if it was water flow or stopped. Staff was helpful, the front desk person came and looked at the tub when I couldn’t get the water to drain (even after removing the mechanism from the drain). I thought the shower water pressure was awesome! The TV only had about 20 channels, the guide book on the desk was outdated and those channels listed there weren’t valid. Besides those few things, not a bad experience just some things need updating. For 1 person for a night or two, the price was right and it worked for me.

Awful hotel. Do not stay here. Very run down. Our non-smoking room had an awful smoke smell. The fabric around the mattress smelled like urine. There was black hair everywhere in the bathroom and on the beds. Brown liquid was splattered on the bathroom door. Another brown substance was smeared on the tile near the toilet. And yet another slimy substance was smeared on the wall near the bed. The pool water was COLD. Many people smoking and loitering in the parking lot near the entrance doors and around our vehicle. This place should be shut down.

Easy on and off the highway. Good places to eat around there The construction guests took up 8-12 spots in the lot with their trucks and attached trailers. when they should have parked on the street! We had to park Down in the wrestling academy lot.far Away from our room and we had 2 bikes on our truck that were worth over $12,000. We had to for them in that Timy room with four people. We were too afraid r to leave them even though locked that far away from the room.

It was a clean room with a comfortable bed. Window curtain had a tear. Just needed a bed for the night and that's what I got.

Nope. Stayed here for Univ of Iowa family weekend and won’t again. The tv wouldn’t work despite our attempts to fix it. Reception gave us new remote batteries and nothing more. The toilet was wobbly at the base and the whole thing seemed like it would come apart from the floor. These are basic things. All for a ridiculous price due to a game weekend.

The man at the front desk was welcoming but the room was terrible.

Breakfast had less than expected. End of one hallway filled with pot smokers.

The location was great. Upon opening the door to the room, you were overpowered by a musty stench. The entire place was outdated and hadn’t been deeply cleaned in years. The breakfast was gross. The “fresh” fruit looked like it had been out for weeks. I know the prices were at a premium because it was a football weekend, but what a joke! I would have been better off sleeping in my car.
