I love this location. I’m traveling to attend classss for my grad school program and the college of nursing is about 5 minutes away. The dinner that’s included is always an added bonus!

Did not eat. Location was good. Needs to be updated. Bathrooms are small. Carpet is very worn. Cigarette butts everywhere outside.

It looks like an older property and the hallways seem a little dark. But the hotel is very clean and my room was very nice. The room air conditioning was fairly quiet and efficient. The breakfast was a typical continental set up, with choices of scrambled eggs and sausages.with various cereals and make your own waffles. The staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel isn’t fancy but it doesn’t need to be. It is simple and my room was very comfortable. If you want a hotel that offers nice amenities, functional clean rooms and is located near Iowa Hawk sports complexes also University of Iowa Hospital/clinics at a value price I recommend the Hesrtland Inn.
