Heartland Inn

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. The room was extremely humid, and there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Even the tissues smelled like smoke.

Quiet & convenient. Some elements showed their age, but overall a pretty clean place.

Loved in room hot tub. MON -THURS free dinner. Pulled pork ,buns, salad and cookie. Slim pickens but tasty and fresh. Have to give 7/10. Free breakfast every morning. Better selection and gourmet beverage machine. Give 8.5/10.

The lobby & the rooms were clean. The staff was so nice! What was a turn off was the hallways & elevator. They all smelled terrible & were dirty. Also, the pillows were flat and there was only 2 per bed. The staff gave us more right away, but it was kind of strange to have to ask. Usually hotels have too many pillows!

It is a very busy place. Limited parking. It is very dated but clean. The coffee pot in the room did not work. The heat lamp in the bathroom did not work Bathtub faucet was extremely difficult to turn. These were all reported upon checkout. They served an evening light dinner plus the continental breakfast. We did not go to either of these. The highlight: it was about a block to a Freddie’s which is one of my favorite custard and dining places. Overall the room was a fair price.

And they offered free breakfast. Nah. I’m good We checked out immediately after experiencing the room .

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was easily accessed from the highway. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast and coffee machine, that you could choose assortment of coffee,lattes, ect. We did have a issue with our room. Manager was quick to resolve it to our satsfaction. I would stay there again. Very convenient if you're going to event at Riverside Casino.

Great experience

The sheets there has blood spot and whole floor was wet, I wrote it for them but they never answered

The outside could be cleaned and help the atmosphere. Not enough pillows. Door keys didn’t work. Cable box didn’t work.

I will definitely stay again everything was 99.9% perfect. The only thing is the cable would cut in and out occasionally but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying here again.

I would of given it 5 stars across the board and it wasnt the propertys fault. There was a group of people that were very hostel when i tried to take my kids swimming that made me and my partner not want to let the kids swim

The room itself (with fireplace and hot tub) was lovely, although we didn’t have opportunity to use either special amenity. My wife’s broken foot and need of her knee-scooter made navigation somewhat difficult, but we managed. We finally learned some tricks for getting into and out of the parking area, but traffic is clearly a challenge.

Our room’s AC was not working correctly. The air coming out was cool but extremely humid. So much so that the bedding by the AC where it was directly blowing was damp. I reported this twice and at no point did maintenence address the problem. There weren’t open rooms to move so I asked for a fan to at least increase circulation. On the last evening, the water out of the sink, shower, and toilet was brown. Like apple juice colored. (I have video of it) The front desk was able to switch me rooms, but did not come to the room to see, get a sample, nor did they assist with moving all our luggage. We let the water in the new room run for 10 minutes and it remained clear so that was good, but the new room was a completely separate wing. At this point, no communication from the property and no attempt to make things right after so many issues. I would hope that if the water in a room was freaking brown they would offer a refund for the inconvenience and potential to get sick. It would be great to get an answer about the water issue in case there will be health issues.

Clean room, good breakfast. Had the king suite with hot tub and fireplace. Good hot tub. Did not use the fp.

The room was spacious with a comfy bed. The pillows were pretty flat. Breakfast was good. The coffee machine was fantastic. Best i’ve ever had as part of a complementary breakfast. Truly better than many coffee houses I’ve been to. They gave us an upgrade to a room with a hot tub. We didn’t use it but who doesn’t appreciate an upgrade?!
