did not have the breakfast. sheets were stained but the staff was helpful. Gave us clean one we changed . No floor mat for the shower. AC kind of worked.

The hallways and room were not clean. Carpet was sticky, hair in the shower, dirty bathroom floor. Front desk was friendly. We will not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff incredibly kind and helpful, the property well-maintained, the breakfast delicious, and the room very clean and comfortable. Will return again!

Clean room..bathtub was outdated. It’s Iowa except and enjoy what’s to offer.

it was priced right for the occasion. Because the bananas were in town and a jazz fest and Iowa city hotels were outrageous.

We picked this hotel because it ranks well on hotel.com. However, we were extremely disappointed, e.g. a bit smelly through out, cold faced front desk staff, no shampoo and bodywash at all, rushed and very simple breakfast. Look at the three bottles of cleaning lotions in the shower, they are totally empty 😭😭 l cannot recommend this hotel and this place needs lot of management improvements.

Unclean, outdated, poorly designed for keeping clean. Housekeeping left a sock laying on the floor from a previous guest. Food unhealthy, unidentifiable and lacking any nutritional value. Vending machines empty or almost empty. Only redeeming part was two of the staff who were welcoming and seemed sincere in caring about their guests. I feel bad they have to work there.

It was decent enough for a quick one night stay. The bathroom was dirty and stains all over the shower curtian. Dispenser was out of body wash.

Overall I’m glad it was just for 1 night. If it had been more I would have checked out and gone somewhere else.

Clean room and property. It was very noisy and could hear people coming and going all night.

The hotel was in need of an update, specifically the bathroom. There was no hairdryer and when I asked, none were available. I was impressed with the breakfast, though, which included eggs and sausage, toast and bagels and make your own waffle. The hotel was still not worth the $100 per night.

Quiet; good water pressure; 24 hour fitness center had weights, elliptical, bicycle, and treadmill; free breakfast was all carbs, make your own waffles, cereal, Yoplait yogurt, bagels, cheap muffins, apple juice, orange juice, and eggs/bananas/apples until they run out; my mom said the coffee was okay, but not great; ditto for the black tea; they also have decaf tea; no coffee maker in room; microwave in room; mini fridge in room has a small freezer section; temp controls on AC work great

Not so good. People drinking behind the building to poor condition of the room, wont be back.

The hotel very clean breakfast bar nice and clean. Parking was very tight.

The room smelled very stale. There was no trash can in the restroom. The curtains did not block the light from coming into the room in the morning.

The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The room was quiet and clean. The location was very convenient to University of Iowa. The staff was pleasant. The bathroom seemed clean but there was paint peeling in the bathtub and the caulking needed to be replaced. The beds were not comfortable. The mattress sunk in and had no support. The pillows were also uncomfortable.
