Holiday Inn Coralville Iowa City by IHG

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so desk staff offered us another room, as we had a wedding to attend. That was nice! 😊 Rooms were adequate and hotel is quiet; beds are comfortable. There is no food on premises. Location was perfect for us!

I booked my reservation in advance and when I arrived to check in, I was told that they oversold 7 rooms and mine was one of them. I was told I no longer had a room there and that I would have to go find another hotel. Every hotel was sold out in this area. I drive over 8 hours to get to this Holiday inn. What terrible customer service. To make matters worse, I had my military veteran and handicap father with me on this trip. It made me really sad for him for us to be treated with such disrespect. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn ever. This hotel also looked like a dump and the elevator was broken.

The hotel bed was great! The shower was narrow and I bumped my elbow and I’m not a big person.

2nd shift lady was great, bartender was great morning front desk mgr was not helpful. Had to move rooms because of a roach found. Gave us small room and was not willing to discount from my original purchase price of original suite booked. Overall stay wasnt horrible minus the bug situation and dealings with morning mgr.

It is a good hotel and I would consider staying there again. I have two complaints; the first is that the TV never really worked properly while we were there. It kept losing the signal. The second issue is that the housekeeper would blast his (bad) music while he was working. It was so loud that you could hear it down the hallway even with the room door closed. That definitely was not very relaxing.

The hotel was poorly maintained. Room not cleaned well.

The room was spotless as well as being very large and comfortable.

Small bathroom, only one chair, small room for high price. Layout of hotel was convoluted. Low ceilings. Won't stay here again.

El personal fue muy atento y comprensivo ya que mis dos nenes son autistas, si eres hispanohablante es una execelente opcion por que hablaban español.

Would have been nice complimentary breakfast instead going to restaurant next door.
