Definitely will try to stay there again.

My wife and I had a pretty uncomfortable experience when, despite there being a “do not disturb” sign on the door, someone from their staff opened the door at 9:45 am on the day we were supposed to leave with an 11:00 am check out time. When we told the front desk and separately wrote an email to them, they apologized but didn’t seem to take in the gravity of how our privacy was violated. I’ve never written a bad review of a hotel prior to this and we have generally really enjoyed staying here before, but this was so strange that it makes me feel uncomfortable staying there in the future.

Walking distance from Coronado beach. Free beach chairs, towels and umbrellas made the morning beach experience so comfortable. The bed in the room is super comfy and the neighborhood is dead silent after 10. Best I have slept on vacation. Complimentary breakfast and mimosas in the morning. Easy drive to La Jolla, ocean beach, downtown, etc. Just a great experience away from the chaos.

Staff and food were amazing

The parking can be a little tough but the staff, grounds and room more than make up for it. When you do find parking it is an easy walk to the zoo that is the Del Coronado (a lot of fun and historic but extremely expensive), and to many restaurants. They don’t have a pool but arrangements can be made. They serve a complimentary breakfast with mimosas if you’d like and an afternoon wine and cheese treat. All in all we will be back!

Welcoming staff, clean room, and great location.

Reserved and paid for a Spa Grand Room for my wife’s birthday. We were surprised and deeply disappointed that the spa had no running hot or even warm water and was unusable. This was in spite of the fact that the bathroom sink and shower had hot water. Staff seemed at a loss on how to address this issue and should have issued a partial credit at a minimum. Additionally, the outside fountain mounted directly behind the headboard made an annoying sound most of the night.

Everything about this place is fantastic. You are pampered from day one. I loved the personal attention at breakfast and happy hour. It's convenient to everything, including the beach within 10 minutes walking. I loved my stay here and will definitely return.

Excellent service! Perfect Coronado location. Walking distance to shops and ocean, yet off the beaten path. Highly recommend, will return.

Very nice location on Coronado Island. Near boardwalk for walking or bicycles. Breakfast is always a treat!

Stayed there for our anniversary and it was perfect for us. We loved the happy hour and breakfast. If you like boutique hotels, this one is perfect and in walking distance of everything.

The staff and service they offer are what in many ways make this a first class destination. The happy hour and breakfasts served were excellent. And the overall environment leads to a restful and peaceful stay in a beautiful location... Coronado Island.
