Loved our stay, we brought our baby girl and thankfully booked the mansion room and it was amazing. Spacious and everything we needed. We will be back

Breakfast was fresh. Preferred croissants and pastries. Parking was excellent.

This is an older property but maintained well with beautiful gardens
-
beautiful hotel with great people that work there. However we did have an issue with the AC turning on and off during the night which I notified the staff. It was coming on and off every 10 to 15 minutes very loud and not always cooling like it was just the compressor. Also I would like to say that the room is very dated seems that doing an upgrade hasn’t been a priority and that is a shame.

Overall experience was Positive. It’s an older hotel but located in a great area.

We planned this trip to be close to our daughter's husband who is stationed on Coronado. We have been to San Diego many times but the first time we stayed on Coronado. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff were so amazing to our daughter and her new husband. The hot breakfast choices were excellent. We enjoyed the pool. We were so close to walk to the beach, great restaurants, and fun shops. Would def stay here again.

My stay at the Glorietta Bay Inn was truly memorable. The hotel’s historic charm gives it a unique character that you won’t find in most modern hotels, while still offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Coronado Beach, directly across from the iconic Hotel del Coronado, and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. I just have gotta surgery and I needed a place to relax and this was amazing and relaxing before I took my flight back home I highly recommend I had book an upstairs room but they switch me to downstairs which was so helpful Juan was amazing and kind I will be coming back one day thank you again

Not the usual hotel set up—very quaint. Breakfast selections varied and were very, very good.I was aware of only two ice machines on the premises. We stayed on a second floor. The facility has no elevators. We checked in late in the evening and we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. Grateful that at age 69 I was able to do it.

The staff was awesome! Super friendly and happy. My TV had a signal issue, so I called the front desk and a staff member was at our door a minute later. It was fixed right away. Breakfast was amazing too! I wasn't expecting fresh eggs, potatoes, and pancakes! Plus, there was so much delicious fresh fruit and other great breakfast options. I will definitely stay here again.

Resort taxes are absurd. This is not a resort, it’s a hotel with a pool. The breakfast is minimal. The eating area is too small when the hotel is full. The bathroom hasn’t been updated in years. The mattress was sagging on the edge. On the plus side Coronado is amazing and the location of the hotel is excellent. The desk staff and the housekeeping staff were very nice.

All around it was a four out of 5 Star Pl.
-
Great location to restaurants, stores and the beach. Older property with some interesting history.

I've stayed in Coronado since the 1970s and stayed in a lot of different properties. I was traveling with my Grandkids and the beach chairs. beach umbrellas, toys , boogie boards and beach towels were a big hit with the grandkids. The staff are amazing and mthe excellent.ost have been with the hotel for years and were magicians at getting the impossible. We had 2 rooms, one in the original spreckles home and the other a larger suite with full kitchen. Cleanliness was impeccable and the antique furniture in the original home added to the ambiance. I have only positive things to say about this property. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices for all tastes. Keep up the excellent work.

The shower was a trickle, which made it very difficult to bathe properly. As for amenities, there's a small motel sized pool. The parking lot was very small, but fortunately we found a spot. Breakfast was adequate, pretty much the typical free breakfast you get at most smaller hotels. I thought the $40 a day "resort fee" was a bit excessive for the amenities provided. The front desk staff was excellent. The main lobby is quite lovely, but the rooms, at least where we stayed, need a refresh desperately!

There is a mold smell in the room. We couldn’t identify the source but if you’re sensitive it wouldn’t be the right fit. The property is beautiful and a great location on the island
-
Rooms are small and dark with no A/C, but very clean and completely adequate for a short stay. The location was perfect for strolling the streets, staff was very helpful, especially Raj at the front desk, and the buffet breakfast was lovely. Free parking was a plus!
-
Location is good. This is a two star hotel. Mold in shower. Dirty stained carpet. AC didn't work. Umbrella by pool side broke almost hitting someone. Breakfast area full of bird poop. Not enough parking at night so you drive around looking for street parking. $40/day resort fee is a joke - there is no resort.
-
Great location. Free breakfast is great. The rooms are very tired and in need of updating. Great staff.
-
Room was dirty. Staff unhelpful. No supervisor on duty to help. Room smoke alarm went off several times.
