The air conditioner in our room worked extremely well, but was quite loud. We opted to use the ceiling fan most of the time. The staff was friendly and attentive.

A quaint little hotel in a perfect location! Steps from the beach and a restaurant, a car rental place, a beach equipment rental place-all on site! I will definitely stay here in the future!

Great location!
-
Great location, but park your car and do the two foot express to get around town bc parking can be really difficult to find.
-
Love the location. Staff is super helpful

Beautiful architecture. Room bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Hot water did not work. Dupose to be a 30% discount. Will wait and see. Centrally located was nice. Many restaurants.
-
Great hotel, prime location walking distance to everything! Great price for a suite, would definitely stay again!

The Hotel is in a great location and such close proximity to the beach, restaurants and everything downtown. It is older but has been well maintained. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. We had no need for a car as we wanted to be on the island for our three day stay and everything is walking distance.

This trip was fantastic. I had a room that was so quaint and wonderful. Tile in the bathroom and kitchenette. Lovely. Regular fans that work. I prefer character to something new and slick. This was the perfect place for me. The only bummer here is the parking. It is off site or street side. But I can live with that.

Close to all the attractions in the area

Old World feeling hotel, but could use some updates. No counter space in bath. Great location.
-
Definitely an older property. But reasonably priced considering the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is our 5th stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful property, excellent staff

Construction happening in the middle of the property so starting in the early morning and going all day all you hear is the sounds of buzz saws and hammering and construction. Also, the pool was very disappointing. Small hardly any room to walk around it very little shade and you’re not even allowed to bring snacks into the pool area. We rented three rooms and one of the rooms had hair in the shower when we got there. The pictures make it look so cute but the walkways look like they hadn’t been swept or sprayed down in months and were full of dead leaves. The location is good, but for what it boasts and for the other reviews online, I was disappointed.

We arrived early knowing our room wouldn't be ready. We had to ring the desk bell twice to get someone to help us. Clerk said he'd call us when our room would be ready. Their luggage "storage" is behind the small front desk. It is often unguarded. We came back a little later and sat waiting for our room and it go to be the actual check in time and the room still wasn't ready. We had to specify NOT to be put in a room near construction. The pool was closed until 2pm that day. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator so we had to lift our heavy bags up narrow stairs. Our "deluxe" room was anything but. It was small, the bathroom was tiny with almost no counter space. The only good things were lots of towels and bath supplies. The tub had an old mat in it. When I went to the pool the next day there were no towels there so I asked front desk who said they send some down. I waited probably 20 minutes until I asked someone else and they were brought up. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Our room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, we had no issues at all and even enjoyed the restaurant the next day.

Highly do not recommend. Spend the money, you will thank me later.

Enjoyed our stay at El Cordova! A little bit of Europe in the heart of Coronado. Suite was very accommodating and location terrific!

Everything was great except the AC. It was a window unit that was very loud and we had to turn it off to sleep.
