Not in good shape

Beach was amazing, but the hotel failed us. The room above us was unbelievably loud for hours — running, pounding, even decor shaking. We called twice and nothing happened. Front desk refused a refund the next morning. For $$$$ a night, any other hotel would have made it right. Between the parking fees, resort fees, and $100 breakfasts, this place is all upcharge and no accountability

I specifically booked a king room in the Views section for three guests. When I checked in, I was given a different room and was told it was an “upgrade” because it had a balcony. However, the room I originally reserved also had a balcony—the difference was that it was located in the Views section, which was the main reason I booked it. On top of that, the front desk tried to charge me for a rollaway bed for the third guest, even though my reservation was clearly for three people. Instead of addressing my concern, they repeatedly insisted that I should be happy with the room they gave me and kept calling it an upgrade. It felt like they were trying to convince me that I was getting something better rather than acknowledging that I did not receive the room I had reserved. The staff remained polite, but the way this situation was handled was disappointing. If you choose to stay here, especially during busy holiday periods, make sure you confirm your room type and location before arriving and don’t hesitate to speak up if what you’re given doesn’t match your reservation.

I had a great time at this hotel. The staff are friendly and the architecture is extremely unique. There is a lot to do, and there are a lot of amenities. I enjoyed my stay !

Amazing hotel staff. Great views!
-
The room was beautiful and very close to the beach. The hotel shops, bar and restaurant were all top notch. May plan another trip soon!

Just a magical hotel. It was our first trip and by day 2 we decided we are going to make an annual trip.

The property was immaculate and iconic!

The "room service" came in a plastic container with a plastic knife and fork in a paper bag. All the prestige of a McDonald's Door Dash, for the price of a white-linen tablecloth dinner. There was a wedding out front and not only could I not use valet, they had me exit and then come back in after circling the property. They did get me resort credit, but because I booked on here I have no itemized folio and can't even tell if the credit was applied properly due to all the fees and costs tacked on in general. So, between the valet being completely overrun, the room I paid for not being available, the waiting 1.5 hours for the new room, and the "McDonald's" level room service... yeah, I could've done better at a motel that costs 1/10 the price.

Worth every Penny!

Careful when you book a room. We booked a room with a private fire pit. The pictures provided do not represent what you get. The terraces with the private fire pits have zero views to the pool or resort, unlike what the pictures depict. We upgraded to a Victoria Oceanfront room at significant cost to have an enjoyable visit. The property is magnificent, but beware when booking. What you are shown may not be what you get.

Amazing breakfast! We had a balcony room with ocean views. Just remember to request an upper level for more unobstructed views if you get a balcony. I wasn't thrilled with a second floor balcony because we had 2 trailers servicing surfer gear and bikes. It wasn't the greatest location. The room was nice though.

We travel a lot and this was one of my favorite and most memorable stays yet! We stayed in one of the Victorian rooms and it was so beautiful and cozy. The whole resort is lovely and the beach sands are golden and glittery.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and wonderful amenities.

Arrival- nobody to get luggage out of car. No service to get into your room (unless you want to wait 2-3 hours he said) Check in- 2 people to check in - 25 minute wait the staff were weird like they joined a week before- didn’t even give us proper directions in this massive property to our room. Room- cute Bathroom- frayed towels!!! Room service - basically non- existent Called for water- 45 mins nobody came then called again - another 25 mins. No extra water in fridge or mini bar- don’t be in the hospitality business if you cannot provide water - AND THIS IS FOR ALL HOTELS - l

The Hilton app displays a message on the digital keying item icon to contact the front desk when your room is not ready. At least that’s what the front desk told me. That doesn’t make any sense. I asked him why it just didn’t display. This room was not ready, but they told me they have no control over the app. Obviously that’s the wrong answer. The cabana pool was nice. It was a family pool so inevitably there were children screaming and crying. Would be nice if there was an adults only pool. Service was very good at the pool. And of course, the hotel location is beautiful. I also very much enjoyed using the Hilton app for access to the hotel and my room. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, but did not appreciate the delayed check-in.
