Atwell Suites Corpus Christi Southeast by IHG

I usually stay here and its always amazing, Clean and helpful, this time on the first morning there was no Body wash in the shower and the drain was backing up, when i get back to the room my room was not cleaned, trash was not thrown, the body wash was filled but nothing else, also the followoig morning the draiin was still backing up. I did ask if they clean everyday and they stated yes. I was very disapointed since all the other times was great.

Very clean and took care of me definitely make it my go to hotel

Thankfully this location is fairly new. Everything was very clean.

The breakfast was excellent. The bar staff was friendly but i dont understand why wine wasnt served when it was clearly visible. I stayed on Saturday and told it wasnt available until Sunday.

Great place to stay! Great overnight worker, Isah, I believe thats how you say it. Very helpful and attentive. Actually all front staff is great.

The room was spacious and the breakfast staff and area were nice. The decor was attractive and there was a pleasant scent throughout the hotel. The staff moved us out of our dirty room after we informed them of the situation Our room was visibly unclean. The floor was not mopped or swept. There were boogers and blood on the restroom floor and balls of hair in the bedroom. There was a dirty used washcloth under the restroom vanity. There was an orange left in the refrigerator. We were looking forward to meeting up with relatives at the hotel bar on Saturday evening to catch up and enjoy a glass of wine. When our relatives arrived we discovered that the bar was closed because the only person who had the key to the alcohol cabinet had called out of work. It’s hard to comprehend that there is only one key and one person who has access in the whole organization. We ended up walking to the hotel next door to buy drinks and hang out.

Restroom wasn’t clean hairs from previous booker

Decent location and hotel and room layout was nice. Good gym. The bed was comfortable and room clean. Great lighting in the room. Front desk staff was nice. The common areas are very nice and getting a few drinks tickets at check in for the hotel bar was nice. When we arrived, check in was normal but not a fan of hitting the customer for an additional $100 up front for 'incidentals'. You get it back at the end but this is not a good practice in welcoming new customers. When we got to our room, the door was opened. Everything looked in order so not a big deal. Reported and they offered to switch rooms. Not necessary. The bathroom was unfinished with missing wallpaper where it wraps around, empty shampoo & soap bottles left in the shower and only 2 towels. We stayed multiple nights so had to get more from the front desk. The top of the door frame is very badly caulked and the drywall gouged. The breakfast was not good (except the biscuits).

They didn't have the room that we booked and then they gave me a room which the door was open and the bed was not made. So then I had to go down and tell them, and then they put me into another room. Hair in the shower and brown splatter spots and stains in the restroom.

When we arrived, we were notified of an additional hundred dollar deposit that would be added to our credit card which wasn’t disclosed previously. We got our room air-conditioned didn’t work and we had to move to another room after troubleshooting. Handle on the shower is about to fall off, but otherwise the conditions of the room very good. The staff was excellent ! Their attentive tomorrow of our needs and did so with the smile at every turn. Get this property another chance next time we visit Corpus Christi.

Nice place to stay, clean, smells good. Breakfast just ok. Good location. Helpful staff. i would stay again.

How clean it was easy to find and great stuff.

Everything was great! The staff were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The only blemish was the number of available staff. It's a fairly newly constructed and opened hotel - just need more staff. The next time we are in town, it's definitely where we are going to stay.

Very courteous staff and responsible

The breakfast was good. I loved the room so comfy clean and refreshed! The customer service was excellent to the point! Was greeted when we walked in fast service, all staff members were very friendly if I needed help I would ask and helped me in no time. Would highly recommend this hotel.... No complaints

Well, I was a little disappointed with the food that was on the floor once I entered into my room. The shower needed to be cleaned better because I was not expecting to see the shower as dirty as it was with it being a new hotel.

Great property and staff. Definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was good and staff was nice and polite

We enjoyed our stay and will book again in the future. We had a couple of minor housekeeping/maintenance issues that were a bit surprising for such a new hotel, however the staff were all super friendly and accommodating.

Special thanks to Christina for her exceptional attention. Through our conversation, I could tell that she genuinely loves her job and understands her role as a manager. However, she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty and make sure that everything is running smoothly, the rooms are clean, and trying different products to remove stains left from the construction crew. Thank you and we appreciate what you do everyday!
