This place is a true diamond in the rough. Doesn’t look like much on the outside. Isn’t much in the inside either. But it was clean. Very clean. Perfect place to lay your head down after all long day at the beach. And perfectly located on park 22. Literally the last motel on the way to Malaquite Beach. We loved it. We’ll definitely be back.

For the price and we’re just going fishing the whole time we’re down there anyways it’s a clean place to sleep and they’re doing so much good things to the property. We have stayed here many times and will stay here again.

Location Stickers in the grass. Took a pet and couldn’t walk them around the property because there were stickers in the grassy areas and in the parking lot.

Bought trip insurance and Booking.com and Monterrey Motel Padre Island wouldn’t not honor the insurance even though we called, emailed and texted with a reason and well over a week in advance. Horrible bait and switch tactics. Don’t use either company. It was clean, AC worked, but some of the plug outlets did not work well. It is fine if you're just wanting a place to sleep and go fishing most of the days you are there. I would also recommend to bring s broom and dust pan, because there will be a lot of sand.
