Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island

Overall hotel cost was fair for the location. Hotel was not up to date, visible repairs made to room, coffee in lobby was always empty, pool was not clear, small flies throughout the entire hotel including our rooms. Had three rooms. No early check in and one room was ready at 6pm. Garbage in halls were overflowing, employees always on their cell phones. Long line at check in. Only two elevators, workout room was not it and machines are in poor conditions. Only two towels in each room when it sleeps 4 guest & manager was not available Sun- Tuesday during our stay!

Just a walk way to the beach. Hotel needs to be updated but overall staff was friendly and decent place to stay.

It’s right by the beach which was a plus. Room was decent, needs a lot of updating on the hotel. Staff was friendly. Nice little gateway especially staying by the beach.

Play needs a major renovation , carpets are filthy in the hallways, I wouldn’t let a dog sleep on the pullout bed, beach access is OK. The outdoor bar is pretty cool. Other than that I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Didn't like we couldn't use TV until a day later & bathroom toilet holder fell from the wall & of course that's the excuse that l will get for nit getting 100 dollar deposit the wyndum charged my account twice 40 & 20 dollars with no explanation couldn't be for parking my handicap tag was on my rear view mirror

The location of the property is great. But, that’s where it ends. You can tell the hotel was once nice, but it is run down & not well maintained. No one cleaned or refreshed our room while we were there. (No do not disturb sign on the door.) No drinks allowed by the pool. (They say per city ordinance, but that’s not true just an excuse. I spoke to the bartenders.) The food is very average at the restaurant & they were “sold out” of the first 2 things I tried to order off the menu. No beach amenities available like chairs or umbrellas, so while it is beach front, if you don’t haul your own gear, you’re out of luck. The TV in our room didn’t work properly. It would randomly glitch out & turn off. Happened while trying watch the World Cup in PKs! While, this isn’t the worst hotel ever. It’s not great & especially for the price. It’s very average.

Booked an Ocean View Balcony suite. AC failed within 2 hours of check-in, and we were moved to a standard room with no ocean view. Refrigerator in that room was also broken. Manager verbally agreed to a refund but said Expedia had to process it — Expedia then couldn’t get authorization from hotel staff for 2 days. When I called Expedia from the lobby to follow up, a manager approached and commented on my tone in front of other guests, instead of addressing the actual issue. Eventually the GM agreed to a full refund but asked us to vacate early, which wasn’t reasonable with two young kids and no notice. Room condition and service issues aside, the handling of the complaint was the bigger problem.

Totally disappointed with the lack of free breakfast.

Everything was perfect I loved it and would def stay agin!

2nd floor hallway celling was leaking had a big spot on the carpet where the water was falling Then walking out to the balcony another leak we could not stand outside without getting wet. Balcony door did not lock. Parking was not covered it was $25. Outside restrooms need to be cleaned a little more often. We really expected to be a little bit better for the $600 Price we paid.

It was right on the beach with easy access to walk down. They had a band on Sunday it was great to come off the beach and enjoy this time.

Would not recommend. The restaurant was good and easy beach access. Hotel not maintained.
