Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island

The building looked like it was under construction in multiple floors, there were flies all over, the elevators were extremely limited and small, our shower wouldn't drain for hours, the in unit shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled rancid, the pool hours weren't posted yet it closed rather early, the food in the restaurant yet good was rather overpriced, and they charged to park in their own parking lot, even when you already paid for a room. The bed was semi comfortable and we didn't have issues with our AC but family members we came with did in a different room. The view was nice.

Room floor was dirty and the pool was filthy.

Everything about this hotel is great! All amenities and right off the beach amazing! The front desk women Paula and Nan were so sweet and always greeted us with a beautiful smile!

Staffs was wonderful and very helpful the food and services was great But rooms need some work and hallways floor was awful.

For it being a Wyndham, I would have assumed it (like 95% of most hotels) had a continental breakfast, especially for as much as I paid. I stayed across the street at the Hawthorne by Wyndham a year ago and paid about $50 less a night and it was much better, and had a continental breakfast. It was the worst Wyndham I have ever stayed at and will no stay at this one or recommend this particular one to anyone. The staff was very courteous and very pleasant.

The view and location were amazing and the staff was very pleasant. Beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is a bit weathered as it is right on the beach but don't let that be a deterant. The balcony room we had looked right over the Gulf and the view was spectacular! The only restaurant provided good meals as well. The bar outside by the pool was happening, good fun and friendly people. We also were fortunate to see the lunar eclipse on our last night, unbelievable! We will most likely return for something there in the future.

A/C needs maintenance. It’s not the first time my room was hot . I’ve had problems with ac issues. I should know it needs better maintenance. I myself work as a Technician and I checked the ac temp with my own tool . They said it was fixed when I reported issue but it was the same . I ve stayed there many times and every time I’ve gone back it’s the same issue with ac’s . I’ve had to change rooms in the past . I’m going to try one more time to stay there to see if issue has been addressed.

Only real perk to this hotel is the location. The beach is a few steps away.

only thing I can write about this place good is the location it's a prime location for the beach the pool is dirty and nasty had seagulls pooping and swimming around in it

Also, don't expect to check in before 4pm. Not even one minute!! Even though rooms are available. However, you can't beat the location! You walk right out onto the beach. For this reason it gets 4 stars.

The elevator was rough and concerning and the stairs were closed off so we couldn’t use those instead. Room was nice but hallways need to be remodeled.

What a fantastic stay ! Ocean views are amazing. Band was playing good tunes. Drinks were flowing and delicious. Will definitely be back

Large rat at the Tiki Bar.

The beach view was gorgeous from our balcony! Everyone, my wife and I passed while we were walking on the beach were very friendly. We are already making plans to go back next year.

Well, to start, it needs an upgrade to match the online photos. It needs to be updated. The elevator is too small and noisy. The bathroom doors are barn doors, which are not suitable for a hotel room. The corners of the room need cleaning due to excessive dirt and dust. The bathtub was rusted and stained with reddish marks. The showerhead and water pressure are poor. The walls and ceiling are stained; the light fixtures and sewers around the room are rusty. The air-conditioner base looks like an afterthought. The swimming pool is too close to the bar!!! The same with the outside furniture. Because it's a beach climate, somebody should check it every so often.

Elevator on the right makes weird noise. Bar is loud. My young daughter got to witness a lap dance. No breakfast. Best thing is the beach is right there.
