Island House BeachFront Condo Hotel

I dont think there was anything I didn't like. Oh, except for the coffee maker lol. Maybe updating the coffee maker for a k-cup would be nice.

They charged service charge for paying with credit card, could have informed ahead of time. Second bedroom didn't have a proper door, just sliding intersection

Location was beautiful Apartment was dated and not very clean especially the bathrooms.

Property was nice if you are looking for a step up above a hotel. We have gotten spoiled with renting beach houses so it wasn’t amazing for us. But if you’re used to staying in a normal hotel, this would be a wonderful stay.

The place is a bit run down on the outside.

We absolutely loved the beach view and how close the beach was to the hotel. The rooms were cozy, clean, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool, especially the small area made for children since it was perfect for families. Everything felt welcoming and convenient, and overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay again! The only issue we had during our stay was that one of the room breakers went out twice while we were plugging in our phone charger. Other than that, everything else was great and we still really enjoyed our stay

The condo itself was nice and clean comfortable They advertised views of the beach , you walk out to the beach from your room , not true the building n rooms are to the sides so there’s no beachfront , and there’s a trail to get to the beach and stairs not handicap friendly its not a huge Walk but with disabilities n 2 elders that was not possible , also we we decided to sit outside our back door while drinking a coffee which supposedly would be able to see the beach , just could hear the waves at least but a few meters from our patio area there was a large land full of bushes n i guess sea moss , when all of a sudden my sister jumps out of her seat and runs in to the sliding doors than tells me to get inside bc she saw a fox in the bushes , i look and as im slowly getting up i tell my sister thats not a fox it was a full grown coyote , and behind him another passes , me being familiar with the coyotes hunting manners ( are never 1 alone) and seeing how the coyote had his head lowered and in attack position walked slowly Into the condo , and that was not good, I did mention this in the office next day n also about the false advertising n that no where on the property did they mention coyotes n not to be out at night , if we ever decide to go back than for sure not going outside after dark

Amazing and friendly staff, clean and cute condo, close to the sea wall and beach.

The condo was clean and the view was gorgeous! We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was- we didn't hear any of the other guests or doors slam throughout the night. It gave us a true sense of privacy. The beds were a little uncomfortable.

Maintenance staff was wonderful. Had problems with our cable maintenance came out got it repaired. Great job

It was right on the water which was great. Honestly I was skeptical when we drove up. Looks are deceiving. Our condo was great Not enough light at night. My significant other has a vision issue and it was harder for him to see at night.

I liked the beach accessibility, Friendly nieghbors, and heated pool. . The missleading advertisement. The high prices, lack of simple toiletries such as soap, shampoo, etc. Lack of any basic services that one may find at other condo rentals and hotels. For example, no cleaning services. The room lacked adequate entertainment( the TV was outdated and small). Lack of parking at night. No discounts for military or veterans. Did I mention the steep rental prices? Most of all the denial of services such as early check in or late check outs. The strict rules made to maximize profits such as informing guests that any lost key cards, parking passes, or overly soiled/ stained towels will be billed extra. The lack of parking at night. The loud music during late hours, the rats, the snakes and upon entering my condo that didnt look nothing like it did in the pictures, my guest screams because there was a cat in the condo. My guest is allergic to cats. Which brings me to my final complaint. The rules said no pets for my condo. Why did I find plenty of other pets that belonged to the property but I was forced to leave my dog home. It would have been a way better time with my dog by my side. I also didnt like how I was rushed for running a few minutes behind checkout time. It just wasnt worth the $600 I payed for only two nights. I could have went next door and got 4 nights for that price, plus all the perks that a resort has to offer. The only thing yall have that they dont is a balcony. But honestly who needs a balcony when your facing another hotel and a empty field. $300 didnt even get me a oceanfront view. Nice people ans staff though.

The staff, my view was beautiful, it’s a peaceful place, and you have a direct visual of the sunrise. In a few hours I will have to leave, that I don’t like!

Island house is a condominium featuring my favorite mid-twentieth century architecture with completely up to date kitchen, bath, and swiming pool, fantastic ground and multistory views along with a private beach along with massive glass, top of the line, sliding floor to ceiling glass! What’s not to like! Been going there for years.
