Motel 6 Corpus Christi, TX

My expectations weren’t all that high to begin with because Motel 6’s are typically “you get what you pay for” experiences, but I will say this is by far the nicest one I’ve ever been to. Again, this isn’t “The Ritz”, but for a quick weekend stay at the beach, it was totally fine. Staff was pleasant, rooms were small, but comfortable and relatively clean, lobby was clean, small pool worked well for the littles. Only “knocks” for this place - the 3rd floor carpet had a weird “crawfish” smell lol, and there was a little mold near the shower and mirrors. But all in all this was a surprisingly decent stay for what we paid/expected and we were only there to sleep and leave/explore so worked perfectly fine for us.

Great location. A little ragged condition in the halls, carpets etc. Overall, a decent value and would stay here again.

We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the hallway constantly smelled like food being cooked in the staff living quarters. The odor was very strong and spread throughout the corridor, making it extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable.

The room felt like I was staying at a hostel. Small , no animates,only a packet of shampoo ,small bar of soap. The bathroom floor had real bad condensation while I showered. Musty smell. Very noisy people walking down the halls all night. Ended up canceling one night and checked out early .

The property sits in an awesome location outside of the property is well kept. Our room had mold on the bath room wall and in the shower. The door leading to the other room was poorly installed. Late night guests running through the hallways I would recommend on site security to patrol the floors. The staff on the other hand were awesome very friendly and helpful.

I like that it wasn't noisy, it was generally in a good location. Staff was friendly We had to clean shower ourselves due to improper cleaning by staff before we got the room. Hair on toilet and shower. The A/C condensation builds up under the A/C ,not sure if thats avoidable in the Humid city but we just kept a towel below. The ice machines look like they haven't been cleaned nor serviced in a good while so we only used the ice for ice chests, black flakes came out in the ice. There was a horrid smell on the 3rd floor where we stayed, not sure what it was. Our 2 queen bedroom was insanely tiny, but for the price I guess that's on us. No ironing board or iron, no actual place to unpack clothes, TV is only viewable from one side of room. Thin walls.

they served no breakfast and they only had vending machines. Coffee was gone before 9am and the pot was put up and not in use. The mattress was hard to sleep on the rooms were not very big and the bathroom door did not lock, table was broke, dead bugs were on the corners, and long hairs were throughout the room before we even got there.

Property was very well kept. It is in a great area. Staff was very polite and helpful.

My stay was good comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Only the vending machine. That’s it. It was filthy and extremely overpriced for the quality.

This hotel is very clean and a good location. Everything is close by. Staff are excellent. Everything good!

Room was advertised with 1 king size bed. It was a queen size. A/C was hard to adjust. Front desk just made excuses and offered no help. Didn't realize that it is a motel 6 and studio 6. Last time i booked there I got a studio for about the same price. Will be better advised next. Time may book directly with them.

Something went wrong with the air conditioner, and I woke up in the entire room was soaking wet never touched the air conditioner. I don’t know what setting it was supposed to be on. It was the setting they put it on, but I woke up soaking wet, went downstairs ass for help. They offered me more towels to clean up all the water on the floor. That’s not really what I was looking for didn’t sleep half the night because I was soaking wet in my bed.

It was clean, quiet, good location for what we needed.

The room has excessive condensation. The mirror was completely fogged, moisture was collecting on our luggage and furniture, the floors were wet, and the bedding felt damp. It’s corpus but those signs point to a problem with the room or the building’s climate control, not just normal coastal weather. They also were very rudely knocking on our door when we still had time to check out. My baby pooped through his shirt and I had to bathe him and get him ready really fast but at 3 minutes passing from check out time they were already yelling at us to get out when we said it’s only 3 minutes after they said they’ll give us 5 minutes or they will charge us $50 late check out fee. Mind you my husband and I travel almost every week and stay at many hotels throughout the week. Never have we gone through that. Rude and unprofessional. Wouldn’t ever go there again. Great service There was a dog next door barking from around 12am to 3am

Everything was nice n clean the only thing is that the ac was leaking water not to much of a big deal but I had a wonderful stay all the staff was nice and helpful when I need help would definitely stay there again ❤️❤️
