Good clean room was cozy and had a small town feel

Stayed here several years ago and it wasn't very good. This time it had been remodeled and was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the breakfast buffet.

Really nothing

Room not clean. No service for the 4 day stay
-
Adequate, somewhat outdated hotel.

Staff were very helpful and the rooms were more than adequate for a night stay.

In the ad for booking it stated that there was a pool but there was not a pool

The room had a separate "kitchen" are with sink, counter and cupboards that was really nice for preparing simple meals. Also loved that there was on-site laundry.

It’s was a short stay and the staff was excellent, the rooms are basic and needs some repairs. The property had just had a major storm when we arrived but it looks like they try and keep it up

The location of the hotel was excellent and easy to get to. It is close to Walmart, so that was convenient for our situation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was just cleaned prior to our arrival, so we know that the room was clean. The room was also spacious. The refrigerator worked well, and we put the microwave to good use. The channel line up, etc. was different than indicated on the room's paperwork, but there was a note in the paperwork stating that the line-up was subject to change. The overall reception and amount of channels wasn't ideal, but we weren't there to watch tv anyway. The breakfast was decent with sausage, eggs, and waffles as the highlights. Parking was adequate as well. I would suggest some updates to the shower just because it was older, but it worked satisfactorily. The air conditioner also worked well. I sadly left a favorite pillow at the hotel, but that's the cost of traveling sometimes. Anyway, the overall stay was good, and we got the needed rest and refreshing breakfast that we needed.

We were in a jam because of a botched reservation elsewhere. We booked the last room at the Econolodge which was one of the last rooms in town available. We expected little. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager Dave, who was friendly and helpful. We went to our room and found it surprisingly clean and spacious. All was quite throughout the night and we had a very pleasant stay.

The location was close to Mesa Verde, the bed was comfortable enough. The room wasn’t very clean, dead flies on the floor, bugs in the bathtub, stuff was rather dusty, it was clear the floors weren’t mopped. The front door’s middle hinge was not bolted in making me wonder about security. The back window in the bathroom was covered in dead bugs and was left unlocked and ajar with no screen when we arrived.

First, I arrived shortly after 10:00 pm and discovered the office was closed, so I was forced to use an electronic kiosk talking virtually to people most likely from India and all they could tell me is that my reservation could not be found. After confirmation emails, numbers, names, etc., they could do nothing for me. They wanted me to cancel the reservation they could not find and charged me approximately $80 more than my original reservation. Finally, an employee walked by and said they would help. After multiple searches, it was discovered that another employee had checked someone else in under my name. I was almost given the keys to open their door to get to the room that I had booked. Thankfully, the employee caught it and reassigned us rooms that had two full beds instead of the king beds that I had booked. The floors and baseboards were all filthy. It took over an hour to check in after long frustrations. I will never book with Econolodge again because they do not hire people to help check people in after 10:00 pm, rather they pay people in foreign countries to deal with checking people into a motel on the other side of the world! They were useless to problem solve. It's crazy!

Excellent breakfast.

When we arrived late the first room we were givin was very dirty one of the beds had chips in the bedding and on the bed frame. first night was very bad, after complaing the next morning the room we were given was a lot cleaner

The cleanliness of the hotel could have been much better. There was an odor in the room when we arrived, hair on the shower floor, and a lot of the surfaces were visibly not thoroughly cleaned. We also had an issue with our room keys, which I believe occurred because we were working with a remote employee via kiosk. Had we worked with a live person, I believe this would not have happened.

The staff was friendly and informative. Bed was comfortable. They need to hire a new painter. Some items in the room needed some repair.
