National 9 Inn Sand Canyon

Clean room, nothing broken, missing or not working. Parking is a little tight, unless you're on a motorcycle. Good location, gas station right across the street. I have stayed here multiple times. Nothing fancy, great for an overnight stay.

Friendly staff. The AC is good, but it needs some cleaning, a good amount of water was dripping and soaked the carpet where the AC was.

No nonsense cheap and easy. Left key for me since we checked in late which was really nice.

There were dead bugs on the beds. Wall plug outlets are old and loose and you couldn't even plug things into them without the connections coming loose. Some of the lights were burned out and didn't work. Sadly, with just a little basic maintenance and care, this could have been a really nice hotel. The rooms were very spacious and could be made into a very nice accommodation if they were maintained. The building is very old and run down. But it has a ton of potential under the right management.

This place was like Bates hotel!! It shouldn't be advertised!

This is a very sketchy and seemingly run down motel. When I went to turn on the shower after arriving water sprayed sideways because the shower head had not been screwed on all the way. Also there was still hair in the bathtub from the previous person. Also the light above the bed didn't work and there were no outlets near the bed. Bed was clean enough.

The room was extremely unsanitary. I documented the condition with photos and videos, including urine residue covering the toilet visible under UV light, stains on the "clean" towels, wash cloths, walls, ceiling, bedframe, and bedding, the bathtub was blackened and deteriorated caulk with heavy buildup , and other serious cleanliness concerns. I left shortly after checking in because I did not feel comfortable sleeping there. I would not recommend this property. I have filed a complaint with Hotels.com and retained all photos, videos, payment records, and timestamps.

Upon arrival, the man working at the desk ran my card and then cancelled it and the amount came back to my card. He then ran my card again and told me that it didn't go through, but it did. He tried to tell me that I needed to pay again. I saw the receipt he had on his counter that said it went through and I saw that it came out of my bank account. This took a while and my elderly mother was sitting in the car this whole time without air conditioning in 100° weather. In his defense, he did let us have the room. We agreed that I would check my card again in the morning. He knocked on our door before 8am (checkout is at 11) and woke us up after we drove for 12 hours the day before. The money was still not in my account and is still not. I paid for the room. So the staff was definitely rude and definitely seemed sketchy. As for the rooms, they were okay. It was a bed to sleep on. That's about as much as I can say for that.

It was easy to find and they let us pay via phone. Plus there is a gas station across the street. Very dirty. There was blood on the blankets and the mattress cover and the mattress. Fairly fresh blood. The sheets also had hair. Did not feel comfortable to sit on the beds.The floor,counters, sink and tub were also very dirty. Upon checking in the receptionist said "there's two beds in the room if you end up not liking one of the beds." Which was odd but made sense when finding the blood and hair. When asking for a refund the receptionist said that the room was clean and when we explained it was an obvious lie and the room was absolutely filthy the receptionist admitted that it had only been him working and that he was sorry and refused to give us a refund and tried to give us another room. We felt uncomfortable and ended up finding another room in town at a different motel.

The cheapest rate close ute mountain casino. No coffee in room. Room was clean. Staff helpful.

Staff awesome. Room older but clean and property quiet at night. Close to Mesa Verda NP and Canyon of the Ancients. Room clean. Older property but could see that the bathroom had been renovated. No smoke detector in room and nothing other than a dead bolt on door but no worries....a chair under the door handle does the trick.

When I booked this place on Expedia I looked at the pictures well.It was somewhat clean.But the reason I picked this is the photos showed Roku Tv but it did not. So if this is important to you don’t stay here.

The location was great but that's about it. Do not stay here even in a pinch. He starts out really nice but then gives you a room where he can see and watch you, TV don't work. Unless you want to reset your whole Roku account it's not worth even watching TV. When I was leaving he was waiting for me like asked if I'm ready to check out I said I wasn't due to his rude approach. I asked him I thought check out is 11am it says it every where and u said it to the guest checking in before me. Nope it's 10:30am right there lies! Why? I promise do not stay here it's trash and the manager is not a good.
