Ramada by Wyndham Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

The manager, Gary, is a saint! We stayed here for the 4th of July to be walking distance to a friend’s place and our room was clean and great for the weekend. there were a ton of out of state kids visiting for the holiday weekend and the staff probably had to put up with a lot dealing with them. Shout out to Gary for being super accommodating and helpful!

This was a great place for what we needed. A bed and a place to shower. The rooms are older, not fancy, but adequate. The breakfast was fine but not anything special. For what we wanted it was great. The price for the location was awesome. We don’t spend time in a hotel room, we are out doing things and at the beach. We wanted a clean shower and a bed. We got both. We will definitely stay there again but if you need luxury and top amenities then this isn’t the place for you.

Checking in was smooth. The room was a little old and dated and smelled like smoke so bad. Staff was friendly and bed was comfortable. Overall it was alright.

It was good for the price compared to other properties in the area. The breakfast was good. The only thing I would say negative is the bathroom was outdated. The tubs need replaced and the lady in the towel room was very rude.

Pool and hot tub(jacuzzi), and laundry are out of order, which was the reason why I decided to go with the hotel. And no they are not working on it. False advertisement! Be aware!!

If you want a place to crash while spending time at Newport, this might be right for you. Nothing onsite is going to make you want to leave you room or re-visit. Stairways are terrible, uneven walkways creak as you walk. This is a one and done for me.

I brought my grandson and granddaughter, to this location because of the continental breakfast and the swimming pool. Well we got one out of two, the pool wasn’t available

The location. Close to shops and just minutes away from the beach. The bathroom.

My room was never cleaned for the 4 days I stayed; no fresh linens; swimming pool out of order entire time!

It’s a very convenient location being so close to freeways, gas stations, restaurants and Newport Beach

Its location is ok Like many Wyndham properties it is run down but expensive. Mold on shower walls, leaking/dripping bathroom faucet. Must smell in the room. Towels and sheets only every third day. They say you can ask for sooner and I did on the second day but they never brought towels, much less changed the sheets. Swimming pool is closed.

I will not be staying at any Ramada Inn. Service was awful and unprofessional. The room had a musty smell. Not impressed at all.

Very tired property, bathroom was in particularly bad shape. Checkin/checkout was efficient but not very welcoming. Significant noise transmission between suites. Pool/spa closed for renos. Avoid this one.

Facility is rundown. Our first room did not have any cold water. The front desk was nice enough to move us to a second room. But the second room had damp carpet and smelled like mildew. The best thing is the breakfast. The eggs and sausages are fresh.

The rooms are spacious and reasonably comfortable. Parts of the hotel are being renovated and under construction. It wasn't an issue for us on the weekend but might be concern if you're there mid-week.

Very old furniture may be 40 years old sofa very old equipment’s and the property was under construction, very old building, pool was under construction, not in service, I cannot use it I give 2 stars
