Motel 6 Cross Lanes, WV - Goff Mountain Rd

Nothing! Disgusting. Towels and sheets dirty. Ended up sleeping in my car.

It’s clean and comfortable, and the staff is nice. Also close to interstate. All rooms are first floor, and you can park right outside your door. Don’t expect anything more than a bed: ice machine did not work while I was there (Sept 24), grass not mowed (doesn’t affect room comfort), but bed and linens were clean, a/c worked, shower had good pressure and temperature, and tv worked, so I got what I needed (a bed for 8 hours).

The room was disgusting. The floor was put together with duct tape. The sheets and towels were a yellow ish/gray. The bathtub was stained and dirty. The handles were hanging off the night stand. The mini frig was full of water. There were cracks in the walls. We had no choice but to stay there as we were passing thru and there were no other hotels available. Plus the no refund policy. Not sure who wrote great for families with kids in the reviews!

Not the best maintained rooms. Offered free coffee but no decaf. Would be nice if they offered a morning snack to go with the coffee. complimentary granola bar? But Hotel is right across from a Wendy's that opens at 6am for drive thru breakfast orders.

It was clean but worn Duct tape on the floor in 3 places right where you walk . Air conditioner sounded like pouring rain all night long. Very hard to sleep with that much noise

There was water in the bottom of the tub, the toilet seat was loose. The TV signal went out around 9:30 pm. And there were 3 large potholes in there driveway. Other than this it was a very nice hotel. The room was spotless. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was in a perfect location, right off the interstate and right next to a Bob Evans restaurant. The good definitely outweighed the bad. I would stay there again if I’m in the area.

It is a budget motel, and it is clean and quiet. Access is a little wonky because of the road design, but that is not the motel's fault. The staff is friendly and efficient; check-in and check-out was fast and easy; staff arrived promptly when we approached the check-in desk. We have stayed here twice in recent weeks in two different rooms. Both rooms were clean and prepared. Everything worked. Because of road construction, it is easier to go a couple of lots down the street, pull into the gas station and cut through the gas station and Taco Bell parking lots to enter the motel parking lot. There is a Bob Evans, Taco Ball, and two gas station convenience stores within a simple, safe walk. Many other restaurant choices a quick drive in either direction on the main road. The motel is next to a highway, so there is a little road noise; with the door closed, it was not noticeable. It would be lovely if the pool had been functional, but it was not and it was not advertised, so no missed expectation. For a budget motel at a good price, a pool is more than would be expected. I am picky about pillows. The ones provided were clean, but not to my liking. For the second stay, I brought mine from home. This would have been the case at probably any hotel-everyone has their own taste in pillows.
