Wyndham Garden Cross Lanes Charleston

The shower curtain rod was broke and the curtain wouldn't stayed closed. The shower head wasn't placed high enough on the wall the water hit me in the face and I'm not that tall. The paint was peeling off the trim around the bathroom door the hinges on the bathroom door were rusted. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. When we checked out the desk clerk was sitting outside in the unloading zone in a chair didn't even bother to ask if we needed anything. VERY GETTO PLACE I will never stay there again. I will not use Hotel Engine to book another room either that is a joke of a booking agency.

Great staff, convenient location. Nice to have a bar & grill on site. Have stayed there twice & both times were great.

The breakfast bar had a very large selection of foods. Husband loved the biscuit and gravy which are rarely found at hotels. Food was hot or cold depending what you wanted. There was only one bad thing, the attendent could not keep the coffee carafes filled due to the large crowd.

Workers was so rude rather smoke cigarettes then help customers horrible service WiFi was always out lashes in bathroom maids are horrible at cleaning up people at front desk super rude breakfast was ok everything else was not good they don’t even deserve one star

They served breakfast. Never took my trash out When I asked they told me to put it outside the door. Receptcals in bathroom didn't work Was told they didn't have another room. Never changed my bed. Never offered to clean my room. The last night of my stay there was no TV service. I will not stay there again I have stayed there the past 3 times I have stayed in W V I will never stay again.

Room was disgusting. First room had no controls for the A/C, as the knobs were ripped off. The second room was dirty. Shower had rust and chipped tub. Stains on the walls, mini fridge, carpets, basically every surface. Smelled and no air circulation. Every surface was damp and things felt wet because of the humidity. Sheets were white and no bed bugs. Janitorial staff yelled at a patron as we were leaving for walking in the common bathroom while they were cleaning it.

We had to change room because the AC/Heat unit was not working. Staff was very accommodating and took care of the change very quickly. The thing is most disliked and I made mention of this to the manager. When you look up this hotel on the internet you are immediately directed to Booking.com. I have never used Booking.com before but proceeded with the reservation. Because we were traveling to Beaver Dam, Ky I wanted to talk directly to the hotel to make sure this hotel was on our route. There was another Wyndham hotel listed in the area. All the phone # listed dealt with AI booking .com. This was very frustrating. I now have the direct # to the hotel, if I decide to stay again on my next visit to Beaver Dam, KY

The breakfast had good choices and the area was kept clean.

Front desk staff would take forever to come to the counter when someone was standing there. Cleanliness was not up to par.

The room was dirty. Food was left in dresser drawers. The refrigerator had a bad smell to it. The room had not been cleaned properly. The electric went out for 9hrs. I was supposed to get a partial refund that I have never received. I would not recommend this place

The bed was very comfortable and loved the water pressure for shower. I had to switch rooms due to me finding and killing three baby roaches. The front clerk was nice about it and switched my room. I seriously doubt I would stay there again.

The breakfast was wonderful. We ah e stayed at this property 3 times of the last couple of years. The first time the room was remodeled and it was wonderful. The next time was ok. This visit there were sketchy people hanging out front and on the side of the building. The room was horrible. The wallpaper was coming apart at the seams and there was mold at the ceiling and wall meet. Then there was mold in the bathroom under the sink. Door frames were filthy. Husband found a pack of cannabis on top of the armoire in the room. Microwave was dirty. Will not stay here again. I also have pictures of all this.
