This was our second stay at this property. When we return to CHARLESTO W VA we will stay there again.

The king bed and bedding were comfortable. The motel was “tired” and hall carpets needed to be cleaned. Many things were in need of repair. Pool was closed. Most equipment in exercise room did not work. Ice machine did not work. Breakfast was marginal.

when they started breakfast, all we heard was the slamming of either cabinets and or doors, so thats about when my sleep ended.

Location was good for my family reunion. Plenty of different places to eat. 24-7 fresh coffee and the best cookies. Bathroom was too small.

It was clean, well kept. The staff and the breakfast were exceptional! Nothing bad to say.

Looked around and found a decent reviewed place with a pool, so my son would have a pool to swim in. Upon arrival, the first room they gave us had a very loud AC UNIT. they switched us rooms and then found out that the pool was down for maintenance. Then I went back and read some more reviews and found out that it happens often. The rooms weren't to terrible and was fairly clean. Just a let down that we weren't able to access the pool.

Perfect location. Rooms were a little dusty. Shampoo/conditioner bottles have mold on them. There needs to be some type of grip in the shower/tub combo so people won't slip and fall(my son fell).

Property was close to things to do. Room was very clean and spacious! Staff were very polite! Breakfast was good.

This hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. There was ample parking and the breakfast was very good. It was next to a Cracker Barrel and there were many other food options nearby. Great location and friendly staff.

We got a room that had not only just been smoked in, but it was not cleaned! Fresh garbage in the trash can and the bed had been slept in! We had to change rooms. It was also not real clean.

While I was getting coffee, I heard several people ask and the same answer was given… It had been down for a couple days… They should have notified patrons

The staff was great, hotel clean, breakfast great. However pool closed, all the gym equipment broken. The highlight no ink in printer. I worked customer service for 30 years and amenities broken is sad, I can forgive 1 but all 3 unforgivable. In addition I walk everyday, so with no side walks on the main street I took a walk on the adjacent street, well for a half of mile it was great until I fell in a sink hole full of mud, had to throw away new sneakers and shirt. Had the treadmills been working this would not of happened. I love your hotel come to Charleston every year and love staying only at Cross Lanes. However being covered in mud and ruining my sneakers was not fun.

The location next to Cracker Barrel is great. The staff was very friendly. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer. The light over the toilet was out.
