The king-size rooms have very few amenities. There wasn’t even a microwave and a normal fridge.

This was the first time we had stayed at The Fairmont and we will definitely do it again. The pool and poolside bar were great and the rooms were very nice!

The hotel room was clean and they made the bed and changed the towels every day. The hotel itself is located in a very central spot downtown Dallas with easy access to the highway. The food and mini bar are definitely way too expensive and not offering free WiFi is also unheard of. The staff was friendly however, their valet parking price of almost $70 per night is ridiculous. We asked the concierge about alternative parking options close by and basically were told to look up the area but there weren’t many spots. Coming to find out that there is a parking lot right around the corner that offers parking for $20 a day and there is street parking right in front of the hotel and to the side entrance that is for free over night and you only have to pay between normal business hours and the fees are very reasonable. Kind of made us feel like they didn’t want us to know that there are more affordable parking options right around the corner. The pool was cloudy and it didn’t look very well maintained. But all in all a good stay! The Starbucks inside the hotel is definitely a plus but if you want something different there is a nice bistro and cafe called The Heron right behind the hotel that offers delicious coffee and bakery items.

Room was clean and hotel has the perfect location.

The staff was attentive. The room was clean and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion smells divine - Le Labo Rose 31. You can smell the scent as soon as you walk into the hotel. Our view was wonderful for the room we got. We could see oart of the Dallas Skyline. Very central location. Many restaurants, museums, and points of interest within walking distance. Pool hours are good - they close at 10pm..other hotels nearby closed at 8pm and this pool is on the terrace and has a wonderful view. The garden on the terrace is cool to see. There is a Starbucks in the hotel and there was also a restaurant - The Pyramid. All parking is valet style. You pay $64.95 per day, And it is a third party but can be charged to your room. This is a higher price than the average hotel but this hotel is in the middle of everything. The only thing that I can say that was not positive is that they never answered the phones to request fresh towels and toilet paper since we didnt ask for our room to be cleaned daily, they were not replenished. So I had to go downstairs to request some and they were immediately taken up to our room. Overall it was an excellent stay! We would definitely stay there again!

A similar experience in most of the fancy downtown Dallas hotels. It’s clean and pretty but kind of older. Expensive valet parking is the only option. I’m not sure if I could have left my car on the street and it would have been ok.
