The lobby and the art were fantastic, the room was nice and spacious and the amenities where good. Even though I was on the 19th floor, I could hear cars racing on the street below till the early hours of the morning, which affected my sleep. This was especially bad on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

The room was great but we had a cricket in the room that was chirping all night for the first two nights until i could find it. The response from the staff was ," yes we have a cricket issue right now " To their credit, they did remove one of our valet parking fees (ridiculous at over $70 per night), but that did not fix the miserable sleep i got for two nights.

I've had good experiences at Thompson hotels but this hotel was just a crappy old Hyatt with a nice lobby. We started off with a really confusing valet service (no help with bags) and the room itself felt shabby. The TV remote was broken, the fridge door was broken and the shower had no water pressure. They have morning coffee service in the lobby but no decaf, tea or alternative creams. Overall it was a very mediocre experience.

The good Left a few items in the room they were found and are being sent back. Security/lost and found was great Ac worked well Bed was comfortable and nice sheets Room was really pretty Staff was nice and helpful in all occasions Pool area was nice and pool had cool water which was awesome in the heat Good location for Dallas museum of art and other downtown attractions The bad Valet is 72$ you can park across the street for 30$ Not the hotel’s fault but it is loud at night downtown. Cars and motorcycles racing at all hours and it was loud. And lots of homeless and groups of teens you had to keep an eye out on. Shower tanks a minute to figure out but there was good pressure and hot water. Overall a good stay would stay there again
