I decided to stay at the Joule because being downtown it was close to Baylor Medical center. When I arrived I had valet parking. $67 per night. When I walked in there were drop cloths everywhere because the entire lobby and bar area were under renovation! Did not expect that, and, the dust etc wasn't going to help my health. Front desk was very friendly, took my bags to my room. It was ok, but I was on a lower floor, only saw the top of a roof and other section of hotel. The rooms are modern, but very drab for a hotel that boasts of its art collection. It felt claustrophobic. No coffee maker which meant the next morning I had to order room service. I sent a message to the front desk that I was disappointed in the room and they graciously told me they could move me. When I returned after my appt they had moved my bag to a much better room in a different part of the hotel that was much more appealing and not hotel Siberia. A larger room with a great view, but, no coffee maker. All in all a decent stay, but nearly $1000 for two nights for half the hotel due to renovation, expensive parking not connected to the hotel, expensive room service, and downtown noise at night. I think the hotel could have done something to create good will due to the construction situation like deducted the parking, or at least one night. The Joule is supposedly known for its interiors etc.,I just saw drop cloths.

What has impressed me most has been the people. The level of care shown to my mother has gone far beyond what I expected. Every member of the staff has treated her with genuine warmth, dignity, and attentiveness. They found thoughtful ways to make her birthday special, from the unique gifts waiting in her room to the sincere way they greeted her each time she came and went. What truly stood out was their anticipation. Whether she needed recommendations, transportation, or assistance with her plans to explore downtown museums, the staff seemed to be thinking ahead before she even had to ask. That level of hospitality is rare and is what transforms a great hotel stay into a memorable experience. The facilities themselves continue to be outstanding. Even with construction taking place in the lobby, the experience never felt diminished. The elegance, service, and attention to detail that define The Joule remained evident throughout our stay. I also want to recognize Colette, whose thoughtful communication before my mother’s arrival set the tone for the entire visit. She took the time to learn my mother’s preferences in advance, and it was clear that the entire team acted on those details. That kind of personalized hospitality leaves a lasting impression. Watching my mother—a woman in her seventies—experience this level of luxury, care, and respect was something I won’t soon forget. The staff didn’t simply prov

I was able to check into the hotel in the morning! My shower was not cleaned from the previous guest as there was a large clump of hair on the shower wall. I ended up not taking a shower because of this

Luxury. Nice clean room. Especially like the house car service and the valet team. The chocolate treat from the turnover service is very nice as well.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The property was beautiful and the services provided were exceptional. There were a couple minor inconveniences, but the hotel staff apologized for them and went above and beyond to make up for it. I could not be more satisfied with the experience. Nothing.
