Reviews
-
Great hotel for those looking to experience one of the older grand hotels of old. Top staff, clean, friendly and elegant in an old west way. Didn’t try the restaurant, but Rodeo Bar food is surprisingly good.
-
Lovely hotel. Great pool. Very enjoyable.
-
Wonderful downtown Dallas hotel with all the amenities
-
Nice hotel. Strange check-in where some people received champagne and others did not. Would have liked to have had robes in the room.
-
Should had been giving a discount! Since the pool area was rented out to a private party! That is the main reason I chose this hotel
-
Great place to stay. Spectacular from the moment you arrive. There wasn't a part I was disappointed in from the food and drinks to the atmosphere. This place is a must stay!
-
The hotel was beautiful. Room was in great condition. Beautiful and comfortable lobby. That being said, the Valet parking experience was a complete disaster. We waited 40 minutes to get our car this past Sunday morning.
-
Also just received “hidden fee” of $71 to park amour car for one night. Not sure when they switched to Marriott, but it shows.
-
Behind the lobby and restaurants, this is not a 5 star hotel and barely a 4 star. Despite the renovations, the rooms offer little more than an Embassy Suites or standard Hilton.
-
The spa was next level! The atmosphere and beauty of this hotel was exquisite!
-
Property was ‘okay’. Staff was ‘okay’. I felt like I spent a lot of money for just ‘okay’. Downtown is inconvenient to maneuver and expensive to park, next time I’ll choose a hotel on the outskirts if I want just an ‘okay’ experience.
-
The history of the hotel and the staff. I actually forgot a Rolex watch in room and it was turned into security Some of the elevators are very small but it is an older hotel and you just have to look over that

Location and how beautiful it was Nothing
-
The vibe. Maintenance did not find and correct why the carpet near the AC was soaking wet. Said it wasn’t the AC and never came back. Left wet carpet.

This hotel is amazing. The staff is so kind and helpful. The smell of fresh flowers is so nice when you walk into the lobby. There are green plants everywhere as well. The room was so clean and also smelled wonderful. Excellent stay!

Eric at the front desk set us up with a fabulous room for our 38th anniversary, and a bottle of champagne. They provided transportation to restaurants and many other amenities. The staff was very courteous and professional. The 7th floor pool area was awesome, with a bar and very attentive servers. We really enjoyed ourselves, they made us feel like royalty.

Only OK

One is the best hotels in the entire country.
-
I walked in my room found snacks on my table and a fridge full of drinks. Thinking they are welcome goodies. Turned out I got a $300 taken from my bank account. What kind of rubbish is this? ?

Great location and amazing size of room
