Wonderful

So nice will stay again and again

The decor is immaculate as the hotel just completed a high investment renovation. Bed was more comfortable than average but that is always subjective. The central HVAC was quiet. L-O-V-E-D the backlit Art Deco burled wood mini bar with lower cabinet mini-fridge in the Jr. King Suite! Each room is a little different and there are a few levels of accommodation so ask lots of questions or do research before choosing your room type. The bathrooms are clean and elegant. For the rooms being 103x years old it's amazing how well everything is. The pool is on the smaller side but very inviting and there's wonderful pool deck seating where you can hang out with friends or family in the evening. This is a fantastic place to stay as a couple. Not encourage families with children to stay here unless they are teens or adult children as the entire property is geared toward a more sophisticated ambiance and not "playland" for Sally and Tommy. When the rain cells roll through town, the huge awning over the valet area helps immensely to keep from getting drenched while hitching a ride. Zero regrets staying here and look forward to being back for the next adventure with my lady. Room service had not started yet (early May 2026) and that was missed. However, it should be starting sometime in June 2026?

Very friendly and professional staff. Beautifully decorated charming, historic hotel. Highly recommend.

Morning breakfast was ok. But all tables dirty, one staff was trying her best.

there was no information on the hotel engine website saying that $42 a night for parking was required and made it seem like an option only. Victory at check in was completely rude and the manager never called after 7 request to do so and three voice messages. There was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. Way over priced for what you get and location.

Hotel Engine hadn't filled out the credit form so they weren't able to direct bill me until they get that back, so I had to put the stay on my card. Otherwise the place was great.

The stay was alright the price of parking was outrageous. The valet only available during certain hours was also an inconvience

My only complaint is they only had valet parking.

The mini fridge's door was broken and difficult to close. The check-in staff were decently nice. The valet staff, however, were amazing! They were kind and welcoming.

the front desk staff incorrectly charged me, they charged my card once, then again. the bank stated that they had already charged me, and it took the front desk over an hour or so to figure it out. Then i was placed in a room that the tub /water couldnt be fixed, so I was moved to a room where I was NOT comfortable, so i was moved rooms twice. the chicken for my salad was cold, hard and dry. jose the room service person was very sweet. at the end they were able to assist. the hotel should come with breakfast. the lobby was very warm.

The state was fine. They charge me for three days of parking but I was only there for two days. Can you help me with this? They have not responded to the voicemail that I left them
