The beach experience could be better , expected food and drink service. Dining options are limited and service at the bar is not enough for all the people.

I believe the resort needs some activity on the weekdays for children, at least on summer days. Maybe a room with some kind of games.

Great hotel. Second time there. There were several flaws. Check-in was delayed until 5:30 pm. Luggage took almost 45 mins to be sent. Breakfast took an hour to be served... sounds like short-staffing to me... Other than that, great place. They did provide a little credit, which showed they cared. Service was very good overall.

The property is beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The pool, spa, restaurants and beach were well kept and everyone was extremely helpful. We never felt ignored. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Honestly our trip was a let down from start to finish. The front desk staff, Carlos, who checked us in was beyond rude. At the time of check in he asked us if we would rather have a room without power or pay for an upgrade. Our room had expired beverages in the mini bar. When we called in room dining they stated they would have to ask if it was okay to not charge us to bring in-expired items. The dining was most disturbing. At Monarch Beach Club we had multiple hairs mixed into our butter. When we brought this to our waitresses attention she said “it happens” and had no concern whatsoever. At Aveo restaurant my mother and I informed them of her allergies on 3 occasions and they brought out a plate with her allergen which she did not know and went to take a bite out of. Not a single staff member apologized and while the dinner was refunded the next day the safety and lack of empathy was appalling. When I brought these concerns to Paloma’s attention at the front office she sent back and email offering $200 back that we still haven’t seen a week later. My mother could have been seriously hurt, the dining establishments clearly have severe cleanliness issues, and the front desk staff were awful.

A favorite destination of our which we have been visiting for years. I love the location and the amenities! The hotel could use a renovation-the public spaces are looking tired but you simply can’t beat having access to the beach club! Dinner at sunset is magic!

Phenomenal setting, beautiful! Stupidly expensive, including all the restaurants
-
Nice property overall. Enjoyed our stay for our anniversary and would go back in the future.

The property was amazing.. problem was the resort was inundated with a large number of babies, infants, toddler s and adolescents. It was like visiting a daycare center.. kids in pool with diapers, dogs running around off leach and kids jumping in spa like it was a pool.., parents were feckless!

Excellent resort. Coming back on July

Not worth the price. Ritz Carlton is far a better option.
