even with the construction nearby, it's a great spot for a quick getaway. Staff is consistently helpful and friendly! BTW, LOVE the hot breakfast! my only sticker shock was the snack machine - $4 for a regular sized M&M peanut?!?! $11 for bottled water!! fyi, bring your own snacks lol. i know DPMI is not to blame; just a big surprise :}

It was a okay stay for us. But everything is really outdated. We had to constantly ask for towels because they said they didn’t have enough. We were a family of 4.

The bed was hard and the pillows were harder, no pool towels either day, had to ask twice. You might as well discontinue the breakfast; everything was sub-par and old.

That aside, the staff was nice and helpful. The location is amazing, and their pool/hot tub area is pretty great. Breakfast was your typical continental, but fewer hot options than i usually see.

Wonderful location. Great staff. Right in the marina. A tad bit outdated. Green algae by pond, gate to pool broken, breakfast hours are very limited, only 2 hours.

Disappointing

We had excellent customer service upon check-in. The first room we were put into was going to be next to construction so we asked to be moved and got a room on the other side of the hotel with a view of the Marina that was perfect. This is an older hotel so it shows some wear, but it’s an excellent location at a good price with a very good breakfast in the morning. We will be back.

The location was great. The staff very helpful. However, the entire place could use a facelift. I understand that this is an iconic place that has quite a bit of history but thought it was too dated for my like.

The breakfast was just okay and a little on the bland side. We also had a minor issue with our parking situation due to the young man at the front desk not being fully informed about the parking procedures. That said, the staff overall were very friendly and pleasant. The area surrounding the hotel was great and probably the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the hotel really took away from the experience. We would consider staying here again, but only if the property underwent a much-needed renovation and significant improvements in cleanliness.

second the key to the door didn’t work and at 2 AM. We had to request the Front Desk to come and help which, finally after they opened the room, we smelled something burning inside the room which then we figured it was the air-conditioning’s smell and we had to leave the room at 3 AM and check in to another hotel. It was the most terrible experience ever.

Way overpriced it’s a place to sleep but not well

I liked how comfy the beds were, and it was quiet. I loved the location. I didn't like that they closed down all the surrounding stores and restaurants.

Do not book here!!! Dates, run down and a mess! My key stopped working so I went to the front desk. There was a sign that they’ll be back in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I found my hubby to use his key because the front desk staff was no where to be found. Multiple issues with several people in our group. This place should be closed and the staff fired. (Check in guy did t even ask for a drivers license to check in!!)
