Holiday Inn Express & Suites Davenport by IHG

There was a lot of noise. There was an outline of a person embedded in the chair in the room. There was mildew/mold and peeling paper in the bathroom. I checked out early and paid for another room in a different hotel. Staff were kind and helpful.

1 elevator was out of order and then the other one was open. Pushed button nothing happened so refused to use elevators rest of stay. No toilet paper in room Using stairs I would exit side doors but key wouldn’t let me back in so I would have to got to front. Door to room would close automatically but wouldn’t close all the way, had to pull it closed to lock Pool was closed all 4 days Breakfast was great Could not access tv all 4 days. Wouldn’t connect just kept searching

The bathroom wasn’t all that clean. The toilet had been cleaned, but the sink area and the floor were in need of some more cleaning. All the fixtures in the room were dusty and the carpet could have used a good cleaning.

Would stay here again if in the area. Everything was 5 star as to be expected..

We had car trouble the morning of Labor Day and wanted to reschedule our room for the next night. We called the desk and were told we'd booked through expedia and had to do it through them. The only way to cancel a room on their site was to accept that it is non-refundable. We were not going to book another night there and pay for 2 nights and there was no way to speak with a human to have the problem resolved. Customer service/support is lacking here, haven't had this problem before. We did book somewhere else, so you've lost long time regulars.

The only complaint was the toilets are way too low. Nice motel, friendly staff, clean rooms, good shower.

This hotel really went out of their way to be accommodating to me. My husband & I had to leave unexpectedly in the middle of our stay and accidentally left something behind in our room. We didn't realize it until we were several hours away. Ash & Tonya were wonderful at working with us to get it shipped back to us! I can say this will be a definite repeat hotel for us! Thank you soo much Ash & Tonya and the rest of the HIE staff!!!

Hotel is clearly undergoing renovations. Our original room's AC didn't work but Ash was great getting us right into the room next to it. This room though - the desk lamp was broken, there waa mold on the window curtain, and the water was lukewarm. We were too tired to move again after traveling all day. The coffee machine was a nice amenity. One elevator was down so only one elevator worked in the hotel, and the ice machines on 3 and 4 didn't work either so we had to go down to 2 for ice.
