Hyatt Place UC Davis

Ok hotel but they don't tell you when you check in that there is no daily room cleaning and can get quite annoyed when you ask for it. LAst time I stayed fo four days and never had my room servcied despite asking every day!

Excellent hotel. Clean, convenient, friendly staff, great breakfast and facilities. Highly recommended!

The double queen bed room was spacious. The room was clean. The staff are friendly.

Rooms were not the cleanest. PILLOWS ARE TERRIBLE. Pool was dirty. No towels re stocked at the pool. Staff was very kind and helpful though.

The room was nice but it had a stinky smell. I sprayed some lysol in my room, but when that didn’t help I called downstsirs to see if they would put me in another room since I was there for 3 nights. They told me they were full and there were no other rooms. They said they would tell the maid in the morning. It still smelled the second day and finally by the 3rd day it was beter. Don’t think I will stay there again.

Love the Hyatt place at UC davis! We have stayed there often during my daughter's 4 years and undergrad, and it cannot be beat in terms of location on campus and a dog friendly and nice and clean with yummy breakfasts! Highly recommend!

It’d be nice if there were some EV chargers in site. Plus, would it kill to have real plates at the breakfast vs paper plates?

The breakfast was below average. The scrambled eggs tasted as though they were from a powder. The sausage and bagel with chive cream cheese spread were good. The only other bread choice was a white bread. There was chopped fresh fruit and still frozen strawberries. Coffee was ok. The staff was welcoming and friendly, but it seemed as though they were spread thin. The same woman who was making coffee and making trips between kitchen and dining area was also the front desk person helping guests to check out. This caused confusion with guest looking for someone at front desk.

Extremely convenient location for walking to UC Davis campus and down town Davis. Looking forward to returning in 2 months.

Room was a bit outdated. Upon checking in, the clerk was super helpful and accommodating. However, front of house was hit and miss during and through the end. Can't beat the location for UC Davis needs.

The only complain I have is that they charge the parking fee when there’s hardly anyone staying at the hotel.

Very clean and staff were so helpful. Walking distance to UC Davis.

Great front desk crew. Good stay to tour the campus!!! Close to downtown.
