Daytona Inn Studios

Someone came in 2nd day made a mess all over my floor in the shower & took sanitary sign off toilet Microwave & fridge breaker popped while making chicken box dinner never got response on how to fix it so no chicken dinner for me finally decided to drag fridge use different outlet so meat didn't continue going bad The corner of the bed was broken the part that holds the actual mattress up on the corner like there's a bunch of boards the boards just like fall through the bed I tried fixing it I think I got one or two of boards back up but by the time I woke up it was out again For the price on the beach that was nice however I almost paid $185 for one night I would have been absolutely furious had I paid that kind of money for that kind of hotel

The was no AC, they had put a portable unit in the tiny bathroom, took up half the bathroom, wasnt even cooling the room, no notice, no communication, and rude when we questioned it. Still awaiting the "refund " that was promised because we literally could not stay there 100 degrees in Florida in July with no AC is not happening.

Overall I would give this place a 3. The only good things are location and the pool.

Property had

Owners were extremely helpful and just an all together wonderful stay. The beach was beautiful and such great views. Pool was nice and literally everything was a easy walk to get to

During our stay there was construction going on in the rooms next to us and the construction people had their tools and equipment blocking the walkway to the elevator. Also trying to take a siesta was out of the question bc it was noisy in the afternoon, with hammering and drilling. Everything I complained about is documented in photos. My suggestion is to spend a little more $ to stay somewhere nicer if you can!

Room was fantastic

The room was extremely clean, there was no staff because it's technically like a studio apartment. Which me and my husband absolutely loved. Our hotel/studio apartment was a side view of the beach and the ocean which was absolutely amazing to watch while sitting and watching TV at night. I have read the negative reviews and cannot understand why it's so negative because this place is absolutely a hidden gem. We cannot rave enough about this place and how amazing it was. Now to be fair the room did not have ac, but it did have multiple fans which kept us cool for the 3 days and two nights that we stayed there.

Best thing about this place is the location. Cant get ahold of anyone if you need anything. K9nd of dirty

So I offered 2 pay for extra parking pass Bec they charge you 75$ if u loose it. But I had the pass but needed an extra one for my boyfriend. I even asked to pay for the extra one but no response. But there quick to remind if it's something stupid. I was given the wrong door code to get in. Took 3/ mins for response. Then they towed his truck and cost us 400$ Bec no one would respond toy question about the pass. So needless to say I paid for ocean front it wasn't it was side view. No one on property to help you. Worse trip of my life. Never again

Drove 11 hours to find that our reservation had been canceled with no notice. Probably a good thing after looking at the property. Very run down and in bad condition.

Nice place

Chose option to Pay at Property bc Hotels.com has Overcharged me Several times in past. (Hours of frustration dealing with Agents to refund my money that was taken “Only to Book/Secure Room til arrival” and Your Card Will Not be Charged. Again, It was taken out of acct AND did Not allow me to get room after sitting in parking lot of Hotel that took my money and would Not send Lock Code. Took over $189 +$69 Service Animal Fee (I’m Disabled w/Certification) 3 hours of sitting in 100 blistering sun inside vehicle w/No A/C waiting to get into room that I have Paid for W/Confirmation number. Emailed and called Hotel Support without any response for about 3hrs then a guy from Hotel (Daytona Inn and Suites) finally called back and said He Apologizes that Money was taken But can’t Refund it bc Hotels.com took money and Not Them… Again, Hotels,com Agent claims Daytona Inn and Suites owe the Money back. I Never Saw a Room at Daytona Inn bc I could Not get in…. Be Careful with 3rd Party Reservations!!!!

Location Didn’t stay the night. The code to unlock the door was on the lockbox on the door. Massive security risk. Bathroom window had no shade, anyone walking by can see in. Pillows less than 1/2 inch thick. Massive renovations and security upgrades needed. Waste of money.

Giving low stars we rented a room that came with a parking spot and a pass but, because we rode our motorcycle we had to park out by the road. Not excited about it!!! Night security officer was rude and condescending! I paid a resort fee… for…? No ice machine no vending machine. The room itself was amazing loved it the view spectacular. Battery dead in fan/light remote so it was stuck on high so we had to use the switch and it was light on fan on high or completely off.
