Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

It's older property that needs some upgrades but was clean and everyone was polite and helpful. Location is great

The room was run down. The couch was ripped and very dirty. The whole building seemed run down. The "balcony" was one foot wide so you couldn't go out onto it, only open the sliding door. The room was very expensive. There was no microwave in the room. There was a tiny refrigerator sitting on the floor! I expected more. I will NOT stay here again.

Very Clean room , Very Clean Hotel ; Staff was wonderful and kind. Beach view was beautiful !! Can’t wait to come back next year!!

The hotel is in a need of a complete renovation- The main couch had holes and rips in it- Wallpaper was peeling off everywhere. Most of the restaurants and bars were closed during the week until the weekend.

There are way too many hidden fees at this resort. The parking is ridiculously priced.

Daytona beach is beautiful, but I'll be making sure to not book hilton again. The facilities were dingy and dirty, throughout the interior and exterior of the hotel. I am appalled that Hilton can associate their name with this location. It's truly disgusting and disappointing.

The maintenence was completey horrible. Missing tiles, gouges in walls, black mold in bathroom by the pool. totally unclean pool deck and pool. Just no upkeep at all. Not what you'd expect from a Hilton

My rooms AC didnt work half the night. Changed rooms in the morning and that rooms AC didnt work. Both rooms had black mold and the AC filters had 2 inches of dust build up on them.

Hotel has let itself go. Front desk was superb but the rest fell short or expectations. I’m sure it’s due to location and what Daytona Beach has become overall but it was a shock to see this hotel in such disarray.

The location There were roaches in the bathroom.

Disappointing

Honestly, this booking was terrible overall. I had to get my room changed because the first one had mold, and the shower was dirty. The hotel is super old; this is the first Hilton I stayed at, and it was this dirty and outdated. My second room wasn’t the best, but it did me fine for the weekend. I honestly wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Cons: parking is a rip off. They should be upfront about it when booking, and they are not. $28 a day to park across the street. Valet is $50+ ttip. Also, if you want to unload/load your own luggage with a cart, you have to be aggressive. There are no carts available to because the bellhop are waiting with their hands on every cart and expecting a tip. On to the room. Yikes. Old, dated, worn and in need of renovation. Dirty couch with holes, tears and worn spots. Same for the curtains. Bed is uncomfortable. Their TV situation needs an upgrade. You can't log into any streaming services like YouTube or AppleTV. The bathroom smells of mold. There also doesn't seem to be a schedule to refresh the room by housekeeping. Some days they do, some days they don't. We expected better from Hilton. Guess we'll stick to Marriott for any other trips.

Excellent clean and staff are outstanding

The views are unbeatable. Able to open door facing ocean was amazing. Only downsides are flickering lightbulb (big deal, everything is garbage these days and not their fault.) And warped bathroom door you cant close all the way, due to constant humidity. Otherwise 10/10 would recomend this place to family and friends.

The hotel needs some basic cleaning and updates. Nothing that would prevent me from staying there again! However for the price there is not reason for these things not to be in play.
