Ocean Walk Resort

Ocean Walk Resort was a terrific hotel but the security for the place made you feel as though you were trespassing the whole time they yelled at my adults like they were children I watched her kick out 4 kids from the pool but allowed the older boys to play foot ball in the pool and hit several people cussing and just too much taking up the whole pool I saw her yell at the parent that she wasn't watching them if they do not want someone on the slide put the cones up they have plenty unable to get out of the resort after 10 have to walk around I will NOT be staying here again due to the security team and will not recommend to anyone with children

Had a good time as always!

When we checked in they had given us a king bed only. We had 6 people in the room. They changed our room quickly and without any issues.

The pools and hallways were over run with unsupervised kids. Rooms in the south tower need updated and a good cleaning.

Black molds bad health hazards and couldn’t stay.They not refund at all. Such a scam never waste your money.

2 times during our stay, resort staff entered our room without our letting them in. There was no emergency. They did knock, but my wife was sleeping once and on the deck the second time so did not here. They surprised her both times, and she was upset. They came to do un-requested maintenance on the cable system, so we simply do not understand how this warrants unrequested auto entrance.

Super clean, staff was ok, they try to tell sell you on vacation club. We had a swarm of bugs on our balcony that they did nothing about. Elevators took forever, parking was awful. It’s a nice place to stay for kids but coming and going was a pain.

The pros: The view from our room was spectacular and was probably the only thing that kept us from complaining about the issues with the room. I enjoyed the text messaging system that gave us the activities around the resort for the day. The proximity to the shoppes and food was also nice. My kids loved the slide in the pool. The staff at the desk were friendly.

Room was dated and furniture some pieces broken. Looked as though it had not been cared for. Ice maker did not work and repair did not come for 4 days. Refrigerator had food splashed down the side and has not been cleaned. Disappointed in the room. Pool was nice but had some cleaning issues. Someone threw up in pool and was not cleaned till the following day. Beach view was nice and would have liked to sit on the balcony to enjoy. But smoke overwhelmed the area.

Is my second time in this place I definitely chose this place again for my vacation!!!!

The place is clean, had a good time. Problem is it’s too crowded. They don’t have enough chairs for the amount of people they have at this location. We stayed for a week and were only able to sit at the pool on a chair for one day and that was because a lady was leaving and gave us hers. People were waking up two hours before the pool closed to line up to get chairs. Which is wrong for the price you pay to stay here. Also the security guards were very rude for 0 reason. Wouldn’t even answer a question and gave big attitude. Only one female security guard was very nice and helpful. My advice is to bring a chair or expect to sit on the ground. So many chairs were claimed and no one sat in them.

Clean room lots of activity and quiet

A lot of fun for kids, between the pools / slide / lazy river - my kids didn’t want to leave the property to do anything else during our stay. Building looks a little older and things could use some updating but we would return!

The hotel was excellent. The timeshare group was rude, arrogant, and overly pushy.

This was our first stay at Ocean Walk Resort. We stayed because our family was staying and they have young children. It was a perfect location for them. Staff was very helpful and the facility was clean.

Outside pool area nice but very crowded hard to find a place to sit.

Lazy river, waterslide, pools are great

Booking the condo was easy, price was affordable for a direct oceanfront unit. However, the BIGGGGG issue was that the owners went in the unit with no advance notice and no emergency. They “tried” to call me, I was not available to answer so they took it upon themselves to enter our unit that we rented, without our permission and without proper notice. The reason they intruded on our space was to deliver a chair. A chair. That very well could have been planned when the unit was not occupied. Additionally, the 17 emails and 7 text messages regarding this booking were a nuisance and unnecessary. The number of messages to me was inappropriate, and when I asked a few questions of the owners, they did not respond with answers needed regarding check in and parking. I won’t be booking 505 again. The sunrises were gorgeous! The pool and beach were fun! The lifeguards are worth every penny they earn with all those rescues they did.

We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The kids loved the indoor pool in the N tower. They were less than impressed with the slide and lazy river. Younger kids appeared to enjoy it. Very convenient to the beach as well as the shops next door.

After checking in,you must go get wristbands.Then they sale you on timeshare offer you stuff for free but charge your credit card for you to show up.Would be OK if what they charge you and what the true cost it not the same.Also cabanas and umbrellas are not the same pay for cabanas get umbrellas.
