Quality Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

It was clean and in a good spot

Because it was located on the beach was the ONLY thing good about this hotel. It was too expensive for this rundown “motel”. It smelled, it was out-dated and front desk staff were not friendly at all. Would not recommend. Will not book again.

The room is clean. Did smell a little bit cool area was very nice. The only complaint I have with that is there was a family with very loud children held in the pool until 1 AM. Bed was very comfortable. It’s nice that they have regular cable versus streaming, I would stay here again.

Only thing about this property that was ok was the oceanfront view, the property was outdated almost got trapped in the elevator breakfast was basic, the room had broken shower heard scratches all over the walls stains on the carpet, just overall run down, paid a lot of money to stay in this dump, only reason I stayed is because they were not willing to refund my money

Liked the view of the beach from the room. Everything felt dated and not very clean. It served our purpose for a place to stay on our way to Miami for a cruise. We did not go to the included breakfast.

Disgusting room. Rotten food in the microwave, we were asked to unscrew the microwave from the fridge and take microwave to the front desk because maintenance was gone for the night. After moving the microwave, live maggots were under it. The sheets did not look clean and there was another guests pool toys and trash on the balcony area. Staff never apologized or offered another room. We also were denied a refund after having to leave the property due to room conditions. Would NOT recommend.

It’s in an amazing spot .

The room was clean but all the furniture has been there for over 20 years. Pitted wood, the springs on the King sized bed were significantly bad on my back. The shower spout was coming of the wall. Poor maintenance and I don't want to talk about the carpet. I love that is right by the beach that is great. But the furniture and widows could use upgrades. The door had no auto closer. Parking tight but it is on the beach. Breakfast was the usual not much for fruits but I understand fruit depends on the market.

Front desk was rude and irritated with everyone. Showed up at breakfast at 9:45 and everything was gone and nothing was being replaced. Breakfast was supposedly over at 10:00.I asked for more waffle batter and the front desk shook their head and reluctantly got enough for just one waffle. The rooms smelled like they had been sprayed with perfume to hide nasty smells. There are definitely better options for this price point.

The room was OK. The AC rattled through the night. The shower was small and the water was warm not hot. People were yelling at 2am in the morning while we were trying to sleep. We were given a room key that someone else was staying in. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is horrendous and not enough for all the rooms.

They didn’t let me in lied abt check in age and only confirmed the real age when I got there I have the phone log from when I called the hotel to confirm check in age stating it was 18, the call said it is recorded and monitored so they can check, when I got there they told me it was 21 and stated I never called even though I called that exact address if I don’t get my refund I will be taking action

Standard rooms do not have a beach view. The original room was a beach view. Breakfast, it is unknown whether there was any for free. The website said for an additional fee, but the office did not state this and it seemed like it would be free. Considering the bug issues I would not trust food from this place though.

The only bad thing I saw was a lot of homeless people in the facilities and in the hotel area.
