Clean room

Room - we chose oceanview and it was beautiful. The room would be the same, but for an addtl $40, we chose to watch the sunset and rise and it was totally worth it. We also chose a room with the balcony. My only complai t was the AC noise was too much if you want med to listen to the waves, but it is what it is. Amenities- we knew they were there, but we just went to the beach. Overall- Id stay here again in a heartbeat

The room was clean and very nice staff. The pool was clean and the area around it. The only issue was the internet was down the whole weekend. Thought I should have gotten a discount.Overall great stay!

Beach view was beautiful

Overall I would stay here again. The hallways and elevators were very very hot. They ac in the room was great. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but that is the norm for budget friendly hotels. They breakfast was good better than the average free breakfast but if you didn't get there early they ran out of hot foods quickly. The hotel staff was very friendly.

I highly recommend anyone going to Daytona looking for a fabulous affordable hotel to stay here. The staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of hot items as well as cereal etc. and the breakfast attendant was friendly and kept everything sparkling clean. I actually tipped her 20 bucks for making sure everything was delicious. That’s the type employee every hotel should have!! The view from the balcony of the ocean was perfect and the room appointments were very up to date and inviting. The bed was SO comfortable and the shower had great pressure. You will not be disappointed in this hotel and I hope to go back again in the near future.

Everything was good no issues

The first room we were given smelled like mildew. Towels were dingy and tv channels and services are outdated. We were locked out of our room on the first day because the battery died on the key lock. Spent an hour waiting for maintenance to get there after spending the day sightseeing, my kids were exhausted and this was well past midnight. The second room was cleaner but smaller. My son got stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes. We opted for parking but there was no parking. I asked for a refund day 1 and they said they couldn’t despite us not having used the room yet due to being locked out. My sons Nintendo switch went “missing” our room had no safe. I will never stay at a best western again nor recommend to anyone ever.

This hotel is in need of an uplift. The pool and beach are close walking distance. There are no covered areas at the pool for shade, so be sure to bring your own umbrella. Parking is limited to one car at an extra cost. Any additional cars will have to be parked about 2 blocks away at an additional fee. Front desk representatives were friendly, but overall feeling of the hotel and additional parking fees were not impressive. This was my first and last visit.

The staff was great. The room was clean. comfortable with a great view. The elevators didn't work all the time. Parking was a nightmare with a lot next door as overflow which was a muddy construction site with chunks of concrete . They had way more rooms than parking places and charge for parking. In fairness, I was refunded my parking fee after complaining about trudging thru the hazardous area and people getting stuck in the mud. The whole stay would have earned an Excellent if the parking was better and the elevators worked all the time. I'd go back just for the clean nice room.

Another thing I loved was the easy access to the beach. I could walk through the pool area and go directly to the beach, which made the location even more enjoyable. The only negative part of my stay was the housekeeping service. The cleaning was very poor. Hair in the bathroom was not removed, and the room was not properly vacuumed. On the third day, I specifically requested vacuuming, but it seemed like it was done very quickly and not thoroughly. The bathroom was still not cleaned properly, and used towels were not removed. Aside from the disappointing housekeeping service, everything else was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The some of the breakfast staff was very rude. The hotel its self was okay. It did its purpose. The room was not as it was advertised on the website. The refrigerator was missing all its shelves. The stove light would remain on even though the burners were off. Yes I’m aware of the cool down period but the stove was never used. I booked 2 rooms and they were totally different quality.

I enjoyed my stay, however the outside of the building is filthy and not maintained well. A good bit of pressure washing is needed. As well as the bathroom in my room, the mirror was starting to rust and the shower was very dated. But overall for the price it was a very nice stay.

The hotel was normal Florida 40 year old run down hotel. Very decent breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beach access was pretty great. I’d give it 3 out of 5.

Roaches in the curtains, breakfast was too crowded to even try, and limited parking. Friendly staff, easy access to the beach. I dont recommend if you are looking for a non-smoking environment.
