Tator at the front desk was exceptional. We had booked breakfast which we didn’t get the vouchers for when we checked in. We then went to have breakfast at Sessions and sat for 20 minutes with no one coming near us but all other tables being tended to. The kids were restless and desperate to get to the pool by this point so I then had to spend $40 at The Grind takeaway on breakfast items, which I was disappointed by. I asked for our balcony door to be looked at as it took myself and my niece to open it and this wasn’t done. I had specifically booked a balcony sea view room to enjoy this facility and unfortunately wasn’t able to.

The customer service was top tier.

We were there for only 18 hours and was charged a Resort fee plus tax of $43.88 that was NEVER mentioned before checkout by Expedia or the hotel. Additionally there was an additional fee for using a credit card which was never discussed. Anothe Bait and switch.

Hotel is very nice and the location is great.

The hotel sits right on the beach, so the sound of the waves is constant and calming. From my balcony, I had a clear view of the ocean and pool deck below — the perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or an afternoon read. The vibe is relaxed yet stylish, with music subtly woven into the experience everywhere you go. My ocean‑view room was modern and spotless, with a comfortable king bed, sleek bathroom, and thoughtful touches like a glowing mirror and plush robes. The décor carried Hard Rock’s signature music theme, but in a subtle, contemporary way. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether lounging poolside or dining indoors, the service was friendly and upbeat. The cocktails matched the beach vibe perfectly, and everything felt easy and unhurried. Inside the hotel, the Hard Rock memorabilia adds personality — from Madonna’s mirrored Cadillac to the purple Hard Rock motorcycle near the Rock Shop. It’s a fun reminder that you’re staying somewhere with a bit of rock‑and‑roll soul.

Location. Very clean. Amazing staff!!! Love the beach. Love the pool!!! The bar tenders were slow and we were ignored every time we wanted another round. Mind you we ate dinner at the bar 3 nights and lunch one day. We are pretty patient people and have stayed at the Hard Rock in Daytona 3 times.

Waitress in restaurant Barista’s and the coffee bar Pool Beach access The employees in the rock shop Check in staff was terrible I was ignored for at least 7 mins valet just stood there a didn’t direct us as to what to do. We had to go to him. Our first room when we walked in smelled like urine even the bellhop was in shock. Our second room the mirrors were very dirty and there was something disgusting and brown on the mirror when you walk in the door. The elder gentleman at the restaurant was very rude. Amongst other things was so sad to see such a nice hotel and have such rude employees.

We’ve been to Daytona Beach several times and my husband always wanted to stay at the HardRock. For his 65th birthday I decided to make it happen. To hear him say “this is the best birthday I’ve ever had” let me know that I made the right decision. The trip was even better when we saw that our favorite bartender who worked at the Holiday Inn next door is now at HardRock. Entire staff did an amazing job providing top notch service. Everything was great and we can’t wait to go back.
