The Beach House Inn

We went on a group vacation with 3 rooms reserved. We went into our rooms to check them out. My room smelled like straight bleach which I was hoping that meant it was clean. The floors were slippery from the bleach, the shower/tub had stains in it (which I was ready to wear my flip flops in) and when we pulled back the comforter you could see the stains on the mattress cover through the top sheet. The 2nd room bed sheets had stains all over them. Almost looked like bodily fluids. And the 3rd room we found bugs on the mattress that looked like dead bed bugs but the staff insisted they were ants. Either way there should NOT be any bugs in the bed! Then when we went in to ask for a refund because we would not stay there…. We were told to call hotels.com to get our refund. When we spoke the hotels.com, they were trying to contact the hotel to verify we were cancelling the reservation but would not answer the phone at first and then said the manager was not available and would not verify the cancellations. 2 of the reservations in my party had to go in to the front desk to insist on getting their refunds in which they finally agreed and refunded their money. By the time I went in, the female staff member at the front desk had a very bad attitude and did not want to refund my room and said mine room wasn’t that dirty. After having a few words and told her I was not staying in the dirty room nor by myself, she refunded my money and we were out of there. 0/10 and very disappointed!

It had a vintage vibe Well the facilities needed updating but it still was a great place to stay.

The pool was great. Hot tub was perfect. The photos of the room aren’t anything like what we booked. We stayed in room 203. They have a window towards the back of room that shown a light the whole time making it very hard to sleep. Ac didn’t work very well.

It is located on the beach. The pool and hot tub area was very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful. There is not enough parking for guests. We received a text around 8pm stating that the hotel had some overflow parking lot located a little down the street. We could not even leave the hotel in the evening and had to order delivery food in order to not lose our parking spot. The room was not as expected and not what was advertised. The curtains had stains all over. One of the beds had dark stains and dirt marks throughout. The bathroom had fixtures falling off the wall and was dirty and dusty. The floors were sticky and the tv did not turn on. The front desk personal did manage to find us another room, which was a little better, but still not up to expectations.

Rooms need to be updated. We had a bad roaches other than that. It was a nice place.

Location to the beach. Not so crowded Poor housekeeping. Sand everywhere in room even on top of the fridge. The mattress was worn and had deep imprints. Pool stayed full of sand and bugs.

Very accommodating and easy to check in and out. Pool and hot area is brand new and very nice! My third time staying and 10/10 would recommend!

I was only in Daytona for rest and relaxation. I love to swim and Beach Inn was perfect for me. I loved the easy access to the beach . I love the pool and the hot sets it apart. Really enjoyed it will visit again. Parking. Not enough parking space.

The location and cost were top notch. The balcony from second floor had amazing views and the bed's were extremely comfortable. The place definitely grew on us over the days we stayed. Great central location. Parking was very limited so if you left after a certain time you were ealking blocks to get to your room. In addition there were initially several native cockroaches that you find in FL but never like to see if your room if you can help it.

Very nice and clean, easy access to the pool and beach. I had a major life changing event take place and myself and 8yo little boy needed an escape for the evening unplanned…We arrived around 8:30p.m, dropped our stuff in the room and hurried downtown to eat. When we arrived back we found out the tv didn’t have a remote and couldn’t be used without. I called and couldn’t get anyone so when I called to check out this morning the person that answered the phone was rude and didn’t care nor offer any type of how can we make it right,… I live local and like to support my neighbors but when I feel like once you get my money, I’m no longer as important as a guest then I get a bad taste and won’t patron your facility again. Please don’t treat people like the only thing that matters is $$$

The staff were great, the tiki bar was cool and you could really tell this place was really trying everyone that worked there believed in it. I also had a problem with the television in my room and they went way out of their way to make it work Didn't like the fact that the room was pretty run down despite having been remodeled. Lots of missing trim and damage on the walls etc. Room definitely had a musty smell to it too. I understand that it was very affordably priced and I don't have super high expectations, I've stayed in worse places but this one was just a little too beat up for my comfort level

Great location, felt peaceful, observed safety precautions surrounding , comfortable the room/ good cleaning, utility in the room good, other guests respectful ( family- kids- a pet). Thanks I observed the pool in the morning need a cleaning. I understand guess use but a little hands on the morning . Thanks.

We got the room with the back patio on the first floor. It was awesome, overlooking the pool, which overlooked the beach even had the bar right next to our patio Older hotel but we didn’t mind
