Booked through Expedia in March for 3 rooms ocean front on Daytona Beach, but on the day of my reservation (July 4th) the hotel couldn’t process my credit card at 9am (check in at 4pm) so they cancelled my reservation. *please note I do not save credit card information on sites due to the threat of data breaches* They sent a message to Expedia but I did not get the messages in time. They stated they needed to run my credit card for 1 room’s taxes ($23) and it would not process so they cancelled all 3 of my rooms. Please note I chose the “pay upon check in option”. When I arrived to the hotel prior to 4pm I found out they had cancelled my reservations and they were completely booked. This left me and 6 adult family members without rooms on the 4th of July. The hotel did offer me 1 room with a queen size bed and a recliner stating the other 4 people could sleep on the floor. Finding this unacceptable, we chose to leave and drive to another city/state. No where did it state that any fees would be collected prior to my arrival. I believe this was the hotel looking to find reasons to cancel rooms so they could rebook at a much higher rate!

The location, pool, beach access, parking was great! Kids eat free at their restaurant, and definitely took advantage of happy hour. They gave 2 free drinks when you checked in. House keeping came every day and made cute things out of the kids blankets. I enjoyed having fresh towels for both the beach and daily showers . Activities for kids! Friendly staff. The room was small and the beds were uncomfortable. At the end of the day when you’re ready to wind down and watch tv, there wasn’t anything on cable to watch. I wish they had smart tvs so you could at least screen mirror your phone. The kitchen isn’t near the restaurant so I feel like that really delayed things for servers.

Overall it was great. Service was great and everyone was friendly The view was beautiful. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The only negative would be the bar and restaurant service took a while at times but the food and drinks were really good!

Location, size of room and bathroom, access to beach Resort is a little weathered, pool needs better lighting at night, there was hair on the towels, when room service cleaned they replaced our towels but did not give new washcloths and when asked they only gave 2.

Excellent stay!!! We loved the amenities and the staff is so nice!! Would definitely stay here again.

Put on 7th floor with a person in a wheelchair. No microwave in the room. Walk in shower door was very hard to open whether inside or outside of the shower. The fee on my card at the check in was understandable. But they didn't tell me that they were doing it. I had to see it on my banking app. Would not stay there again.

Very clean! Parking is not great, very tight small parking area unless you wanna walk across a busy street

On the beach / and food was good Our hotel room was horrible. We had to move rooms at 2am due to bugs all in the room. Dresser drawers were broken, fridge was broken. Bugs in the bed and all in the room.
