Very run down and dirty. Hosts are pleasant, but the inn offers little in ambiance and is very dirty. Rooms are really small. Our bathtub was literally in the same room as the bed. Floors are really dirty. I wish the owners the best, but it looks like they are not really interested in our business. You have been warned. By the way, I don’t get how there are many positive reviews. Cleanliness and room size and lack of amenities are all subpar.

Very unique property in adorable Del Mar with so much character and charm. Each room is decorated differently. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean. It was peaceful and we slept very well. The bed was very comfortable. Walking distance easily to many restaurants and shops. The owner was so sweet and showed us to our room as well as showed us some of her other cool rooms. Would stay here again! N/A

Loved the charm, hospitality, location. A fun and unique place. Was comfortable and quiet. Delightful!! A bit aged, but hippy funky and charming.

Close to beach and an event we were attending. Quirky, clean, private. Ladies at the desk very kind and personable.one of them was the designer of this unique art themed property. No breakfast. Soap dispensers almost empty. Problem with internet connectivity.

Amazingly peaceful Nothing

Location was great. Very interesting place.

Location was great and hotel style was unique and boutique like. No accommodation for slightly early check in. (4pm check in is very late and there was no one even staying there on Sunday when we arrived at 2pm) Tons of ants in the room and the windows did not close all the way.

Clean and excellent location next to the Farmers Market and beach. Nothing to not like!

The location was wonderful. Within walking distance to everything. I felt very safe overall, but the doors could use more locks. The a/c worked great but was super loud while trying to sleep.

We were surprised at how tiny the room was. The pictures were deceiving! It supposedly had an ocean view but that was a teeny tiny corner of the window. The bathroom was smaller than an airplane bathroom including a shower. The worst part was that we were stung by ants all night long. They were everywhere! An infestation in multiple places in the room. Upon checking out and showing the clerk the numerous ant bites on my arms and neck she angrily said they were from my dog who had fleas. Our dog does not have fleas! As a doctor, I know the difference in what an ant and flea bite look like. We saw over 100 ants in the room and on the bed covers. She accused me of not telling them we had a dog despite showing her a receipt that I paid $50.00 the night before to the man who owns the hotel. When I asked to speak to him she said he was gone for the day. Don’t stay in this dump!

The room we had was very quaint with a nice little fireplace stove and a really nice view of Treetops and water this is a very unique property a solid find we had a great time staying there in the area is very beautiful

Horrible…no amenities..never ever been to such a horrible hotel..no ice at facility, ants in room, flies in room when arrived.! Gentleman told me to go across Highway 101 to liquor store to buy ice…pathetic! I would like at least a partial refund for the danger this event subjected to me!!!! Amazing…disgusting!

The price was good & view was great. Themed rooms were cool. Rooms were clean-ish. Tub was not thoroughly cleaned. Several ants throughout. We only stayed one night, never brought food in, think it’s just from the location.
