Great place!!!

One of the highlights was the friendly gentleman at the front desk, who was welcoming, easy to work with, and made check-in and our stay hassle-free. The location is hard to beat. It's right in the heart of Del Mar, with restaurants, shops, and the beach all within easy walking distance. We barely had to use our car all weekend, which made the trip even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place in an excellent location rather than a luxury resort, this hotel is a great value. We'd definitely stay here again.

Location is fantastic and the premiere King room was amazing. Perfect view every morning. No on-site amenities but plenty of places around.

Beautiful stay!! Hidden Gem! My daughters and I will continue go here. Stay was comfortable and accomidating. Very close to beach and best restaurants. Host was very friendly.

Staff at check in were slow for check in (4pm) when myself and 4 other guests all waiting exactly at 4pm. Upon arrival at 3pm, I was feeling sick from 48 hours of international travel. We were kept waiting in lobby until 4pm check in - no offer of any water or anything else. Upon check in, I urgently needed a bathroom and staff threatened to not allow my PAID room to secure my reservation because I did not have my physical credit card. I was upset about this not expecting any issues since the room was fully paid. I was told that my “energy was bad and I was not welcome to stay at the hotel.” I would not be allowed to check in without my physical credit card. Staff said they needed it for verification although all payment was made. No breakfast, bad coffee. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The place was absolutely charming, each room represents a different theme and they’re all done very artfully - not kitschy. Skylights. Traveling at summer solstice, the room was very bright very early…

It is what it is Just sad

The unique theme & style. The host was wonderful. Little dusty however could be the open doors to the garden.

Nice architecture, close enough to the ocean and to the Del Mar shops and restaurants. The place is worn down; it smells of mold and stale food. Found a large spider on the bed when I first entered the room, and another one later on; overnight, I got bitten by a spider. Very expensive for the quality of the accommodation.

Beautiful inn, gorgeous room, and view! We would absolutely stay here again! The owner is incredibly lovely and helpful. We felt very cared for.
-
Very clean and was very comfortable place. Surrounded by gardens and beautiful art work. Very unique, we loved it! The check in was at 4pm, we were hoping for an earlier check in but got denied.

It’s very clean and comfortable. Would have liked a vending machine for bottled water.

Absolutely stunning property! Beautiful room and view! Very relaxing stay. Will definitely be back!

This was such an amazing spot for a weekend staycation. We got the Premium King Suite and it was perfect. Lots of space on the patio, a bbq pit, a firepit, AND an exclusive hot tub! We could not have asked for a better spot away from the hustle of LA city life.

Very charming "handmade" rooms each decorated with the theme of a particular modern artist. Just a lovely novel homey atmosphere.
-
We had a delightful stay! It was a little difficult for my ordered husband to get out of bed as the bed was really low, but we managed. Cute room on second level! Parking was no problem!

I’ve never stayed in anything so cute as the secret garden inn John and Solana were so polite I would go back there over and over and over again if they treated me as well as they did this past weekend.??
-
We loved the location and the unique property itself. Also the hosts are awesome. They make you feel so welcomed. Really nothing.

Besides John the manager being so very accommodating with everything, the hotel has a great location, is very quaint and clean, and we definitely would recommend it to our friends. Nothing
