Hampton Inn Denver-International Airport

Although we rated each section of this review with an excellent, we gave the hotel an overall good rating. This is because a third party company “owns” the parking lot and charges customers for parking. I doubt this is for security purposes and am pretty sure that the hotel is making a kick back from it. It is too bad that the tip for the housekeeping staff ended up going to this paid parking.

Staff was great. Rooms very clean. AC was great, very quiet. Overall great stay. Would definitely stay again

Very good

-Convenient location, 10 minutes by hotel shuttle to the airport. -Clean and comfortable room, appeared to be nearly renovated. -The Moonlight Diner, directly next door, serves good food from a basic menu with plenty of options.

Paying for parking was a hassle.

When we arrived the clock was set to the wrong time and the phone was unplugged. I believe both were done deliberately by the prior guest and not corrected by the hotel staff.

An USB charger does not work. The toilet does not flush.

The room was clean and comfortable. They were doing some touch up painting in the hallway and the paint smell was a bit strong. The only other thing that I don’t care for is paying to park. If it were gated or had a security guard that would be different.

The breakfast was excellent. Very clean rooms. Very competitive prices Nnothing

A very busy location. Parking is an add on charge of $10. Overall room seemed clean. More / better job needed in bath.. dirt n hair found behind bathroom door when door was closed.

Exceptional

Chose for location to DIA. Very convenient to the Parking Spot where we leave our car. A few hours after we arrived, we woke up to smell horrible sewage smell from the bathroom. This continued all night. We left the hotel at 5:30am because we couldn't tolerate the smell any longer.

I liked the clean room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was the usual fare for that class of hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Two things I did not like- pay to park every night where as some other hotels in area did not charge and mostly I had to pay for WiFi! So I did not sign up for it. So will not stay in Hampton inn again. I want my WiFi for free.

Will rank higher after renovation.

The room was clean, but the common areas (hallway’s & elevator)are in need of cleaning & refurbishment. Room telephone was disconnected & couldn’t be put in service immediately, making wake up call impossible.
