Great location.

I would definitely not recommend staying there. It was very run down and dirty. Staff were not very friendly or welcoming. You definitely get what you pay for. This was a last minute trip so I didn't do my research and I fully regret it. I would never stay there again.

I would like to give kudos to front desk employees. Very helpful group of people. The only negative comment - outfits (mostly guys) not very professional. They should be required to wear better looking clothes.

Worst hotel

Wouldn't stay here again. The building is in rough shape, carpet is disgusting throughout. Room was clean enough, just extremely outdated. Soaps were the cheapest money could buy, didn't trust the elevators, staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was ok. Nothing fancy, but we would definitely stay there again. Good place, good neighborhood.

Pool was closed and covered, and the breakfast was disappointing. The dining area felt more like an old convention space than a breakfast room. When items went missing from my room, the housekeeping supervisor was unwilling to help investigate and stated she was unfamiliar with checking room access records. The elevator was unreliable, and many areas of the property appeared worn and in need of maintenance. The only positive aspect of my stay was that the staff were generally pleasant, although the service ultimately fell short of expectations. I decided to leave early. The hotel's location within easy and safe walking distance of Ball Arena was also a plus.

The property is really close to the city and views were great! Hotel next door was sketchy and homeless people camped across the road so I am not sure how safe it would be at night. Well lit around the hotel. Elevator was down so it was an easy walk up the stairs. Access to the deck area from the room was convenient for city view.

I stayed at this facility because it is very close to downtown Denver. They advertise themselves as a budget level facility. They meet that criteria and go a bit beyond that. My most enduring impressions are of the friendly and welcoming demeanor of the staff persons. My room was very clean and comfortable, no super modern or stylish furnishings. It is a budget facility! The availability of free parking is a big plus for this facility. Continental breakfast could be upgraded a bit, maybe on the weekends if not everyday. Overall I was pleased with my stay. I believe I got my money's worth. When future travel takes me to Denver for a brief stay, or overnight pit stop, I will stay at the Inn at Highlands.

The motel portion was alright. The hotel room REEKED of cigarette smoke, there were cops walking past our door and our bathroom was gross. I'm sure it was cleaned, but the floors looked nasty, the tub looked stained, and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The bathroom door was held together by a separate piece of wood and had holes in the door. Otherwise the room was okay besides the smell and bathroom.

Does the job, every time. Especially for the price.
