Very nice place and close to the airport. They have a shuttle which is nice, but I didn't use. Typical free hotel breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was close to the runway approach. Next door to a nice restaurant no matter what other reviewers might say. Would stay here again.

While there are some updates around the property, some of the carpet looks worn down. Also the breakfast was okay but I have stayed in nicer hotels in bigger cities for the same amount per night.

I didn’t like that there was no water bottle in the room.

Location to airport Room was dated, old carpet on room floors and hallways and even elevator. Didn’t remove my shoes in the room.

My mother & I stayed here to catch an early flight out the next morning and we had a great experience. Staff was incredibly friendly and the room & beds were very comfortable. When we fly Des Moines next we will be staying at the Fairfield Inn.
