Booked 3 employees to stay there for a few days. Had to book another hotel because it was filthy.
-
Booked a room 10 days prior to check in day and was told that they didnt have any rooms. They failed to cancel the reservation and even charged me for a night.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. There was a mall nearby

The room was pretty clean, very neat. Had a terribly stained wash cloth and bottom of a sheet. The towel rack was loose and kept failing and the room phone was missing buttons. The kitchenette had no dishes cups or silverware. Not even plastic or paper. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating but I had to ask to get what I needed instead of it just being done prior to check in. Sounds like I'm complaining but I'm just pointing out the worst. It was very quiet and the room was updated recently which was so nice. Would book again

I booked the room drove all the way from Chicago just for them to tell me they didn’t have a room for me. They allowed me to swipe my card and then had the audacity to say I need to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. They left us stranded in Detroit with no where to go. They two rooms they did attempt to put us in had people in there

first of all we did not have a room key till the next day and we had to ask for someone to let us in our room each time we left out of our room. which was inconvenience. Also people in and out making loud noises at night which i could not sleep. Room was not as clean.

Really good location.
-
Only location. Close to mall. Too old, dirty. Breakfast bad, only coffee, do not even call it breakfast.

When I arrive to extended stay. I couldn’t get a room because the system was down. I asked about getting a room just until the system came back up and I was told no so I had to go get another room somewhere else after waiting two hours up on my arrival.

The outside of the building looked nice enough. But !! They must be under staffed because it took a moment for someone to come to the front desk. Once they showed up we were informed that at 2pm, no rooms were clean for checkin, after we checked into room #208, it was still DIRTY ! The sheets had NOT been changed on the bed, hair all over the pillowcase, the bathroom sink was stopped up, kitchenette sink had egg shells in it. Went to the office, they changed my room, but then said "I have to finish cleaning this room, hold on a minute........ mind you its after 5:30 pm central time, Dearborn Detroit time so after 6:30pm. I drove from Mobile, Alabama 19 hours just to have to deal with this. So i waited 13 minutes for her to finish cleaning the room, Rm# 108. Only to get in there and see the sheets hanging & touching the floor,,, which had not been cleaned. I know this because i was 4 doors down waiting for her to finish. And on top of that, more hair on the bed & blood spatter on the white comforter. So i called the lady to come up & look at the room she said she'd JUST cleaned. I showed her the hair & she said "oh, thats peobably mine !" So i just called corporate and asked for a refund. IT WAS HORRIBLE !

Location was very good for our visit to the Henry Ford Museum. No issues at all

This is my second time within 1 year staying at this hotel, the first time it was better but this time it seems as if the property had gotten worse. The rooms were not cleaned properly, the rooms felt dirty. The first room was a definitely no.. the second was a little better but still dirty and then i was was told that was all available anything else would have been an up charge smh that was ridiculous, especially for something that could have been resolved by actually cleaning it.. So, we've decided that our future visits in the Detroit area we won't be staying here again.
