DoubleTree by Hilton Detroit - Dearborn

The staff were great and the fountain in the lobby is beautiful. The overall building was poorly maintained and the room was not well cleaned.

Everything in Detroit is run down the area around this place is hectic there’s a lot of street lights that don’t work the property on the inside it has better pictures then what you will actually see to get any hotel descent in the entire city it has to be 4 stars this one the room we stayed in had water leaking into the room from the shower so there was mold build up on the corner of the floor Make sure to record any and every little wrong thing so they won’t hold your deposit but over all the inside was not super ghetto or trash we stayed the weekend of a concert soo it had its moments the floors inside the room were dirty and the INTERNET SAY ITS WORKS BUT IT WILL Not and the front desk is not an IT department so they can’t fix anything pool was also really Foggy and dirty don’t swim but Yk over it’s a 6.5/10 and this is sopose to be 4 stars, imagine if you stayed at anything lower then

Please don’t stay at that raggedy dirty hotel in Dearborn Michigan I have pictures of how dirty the room was old not up to date pillows were old and flat mattress were old save your money

The staff were wonderful. The lobby is nice. The room was horrible. Especially the bathroom. It just looked as if it had not been cleaned properly in a long time. The mildew smell that greeted you at the room door was horrible. Definitely need to inspect and retrain cleaning staff.

It took forever for hotel clerk to come to the front desk. I rang the bell several times with no response.

The check in staff and front counter were very helpful and professional. The room lacked cleanliness though.

The front desk staff is very experienced. The location is still great as being close enough to the airport, downtown Detroit, Dearborn, and actual neighborhoods. Only had one issue with reclaiming a left item.

We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dearborn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for exploring the Detroit area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in was a nice touch.

Staff were not friendly, my reservation was included breakfast, they did nit honored that. We stayed 4 nights, they did not clean the room untill we call for toilet paper and clean towels.

The location was convenient

Night staff management was amazing an d so hospitable it made our stay amazing!

I was in town for a wedding and there was several people that attended the wedding including the bride and groom that had room issues that weren't addressed. Our room was not properly cleaned and there was no sense of urgency. It's just straighten out any issues that we had. I am never staying at a DoubleTree ever again in life.

I had a terrible experience at the double tree hilton-dearborn hotel. I arrived early on May 28th, 2026 around 12:00 p.m., I did an early check in and got charged a $25 fee which was fine. I got a room and went to see it. As I was walking, the property was dirty, the pool was filthy with so much film, and bacteria in it. As soon as I entered the room, it had towels on the floor, the bed not made , wasn't cleaned or touched after the person who was staying there before me. Mind you I was traveling with my husband and 5 yrs old. We got mad, went down and said the room is dirty, they waived the early checkin fee and assigned us to another room, checked out the second room, and found it filthier than the room before. We had a nonrefundable booking thru expedia, but I contacted expedia, and hotel manager to refund my money, we ended up leaving and booked another hotel. This is supposed to be a four star hotel ?! I can't give it any star rating honestly. Don't waste your time here !

Friendly staff clean hotel Pillows were not very comfortable and a/c could be better

Zero security. People and kids can literally enter any door at any time without key verification. Pool literally had scum on top of the water. Found feces in our bed. Moved rooms only to find out the new room was occupied by other people. Didn’t comp the room which is insane. Only way to get breakfast is if you pay 30 dollars. Place is trash. Stay away at all cost

Super clean room, also very quiet despite being eight next to a busy highway. Beautiful lobby. Food at the bar was delicious. Comfy bed.
