Holiday Inn Express & Suites Detroit Dearborn by IHG

Many things to like about this one. Close to Ford museum and village ,good price,free parking, good restaurants nearby, they vary the brfst a little each day so some variety, there is free fruit out all day,coffee in room,frig in room. Great place.

Room was clean Hotel was close to our destination. Breakfast was great.

Clean, great shower, There was light above closet and we couldn't find a way to turn it off /also, tv remote was not easy to understand

I would give the Dearborn Holiday Inn Express a 5 star, except there seemed to be an issue with breakfast on 2 of our 5 day stay. The hot breakfast was not available on those 2 days. One of those days after 9:00 hot food was finally put out & available. It seems the cook did not show up to work. Cold cereal, doughnuts, yogurt & toast we offered. We had 3 different rooms family was staying & in 2 rooms the bathroom GFI outlet did not work, We reported this, but it never got fixed, even though we were told they would fix it the next day. Otherwise, it was a great stay! The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient for Target, Walmart, restaurants, Downtown activities & also was close to the Henry Ford Museum. The price was worth the stay.

When I got there they told me they cancelled my reservation because the card on file was declined and they didn’t have a contact phone number for me to fix it. There were 3 cards attached to my account two had expired and I forgot to update them but there was still another valid card for the hold. My phone number was on there as was my email to contact me. They conveniently had one last room available, which happened to be the room I reserved. Also our shower was missing an entire door and we didn’t discover that until midnight after we got back from the concert. When I brought it up on check out they simply say “yes but the water doesn’t come out onto the floor, but we ordered more doors the general manager knows about it.” Needless to say I won’t be staying at a holiday inn express again much less this one.

Not all the people that work there are rude but there was a man that works the front desk that must absolutely hate his job. He was very rude!

Clean room

The door deadbolt was broken. Upon leaving, we discovered our room never even full shut, you could just push it open. I informed front desk and was told a manager would be in contact and nothing has been done. I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND

The staff was really nice and the hotel clean and well maintained. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't take tap(you have to have a physical card or cash) for the room deposit

Exceptional

Big clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Breakfast was the standard holiday inn breakfast. Staff was very nice.

Noisy traffic at night. It was like trying to sleep next to the Indy 500. DO NOT STAY HERE if you require quiet for sleep.

Dylan at the front desk was great!! The breakfast was good with multiple options. Only thing I would change, crispier bacon!

We went to a concert in Detroit and stayed in Dearborn. It was 16 minutes to Little Caesar’s so a great location. Easy access to downtown. All was good.

Everything was great, except for the water pressure in the bathroom. Both the sink and shower had real low pressure.
