Comfort Inn Detroit Downtown

Someone hit my car while I was in it and kept going. Parking to too stuffed. Rooms and property not well kept.

A Gem! Good parking, very,very helpful ,friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Amazing shuttle service on Friday & Saturday nights within a certain radius. We stay here every time we're are in downtown Detroit!

Staff was great, parking convenient. Entire hotel run down old and not very clean. Breakfast was fine.

The one thing that "got me" was the NBA Finals were on and there was very poor or no reception on many channels.

Elevator was down, odor in the hallway but not in the lobby

Really run down location on the project side of Detroit. Definitely not walking friendly especially if you have younger kids. Smelt like marijuana. Barely enough parking spaces on the premises.

When we arrived we were informed the elevators will not be working because they are in the process of fixing or repairing them. The room smelled of dirty carpet and moldy. The Ford Fireworks show was that evening and it seems that the hotel let random people park at its location and set up beach chairs for around the property for the fireworks show that evening. The next day the parking lot was filthy and unacceptable. A lady with a young boy around 6 yrs old were in the pantry/dining area and the young boy was wearing a pamper that reeked of for feces. They should not have been allowed in this area with nothing but a soiled pamper. Never again will I stay at a Comfort Inn let alone this one in Detroit.

Hotel had the smell of possible mold in and outside the room. The headboard was nasty and dusty. Underneath the bead there was only one box spring mattress, the other side had boards. This alone made it uncomfortable and afraid to even eat the continental breakfast.

All the staff were nice.

I gave this hotel an excellent because it ticked all our boxes. First, the value. We usually find something to complain about with an inexpensive hotel, but not with the Comfort Inn Downtown Detroit. The staff were extrememly welcoming and accomodating. Parking was free. Breakfast was decent, and the breakfast area was well-stocked and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a free shuttle service in the evening to the Greektown area where the restaruants and nightlife are. As tourists, we found the hotel well-located for everything we wanted to do, on foot as well as by car.

It was ok for one night stay, walking distance to downtown Detroit area for games. The price was very expensive due to the Detroit Grand Prix.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property! The lobby is very nice, the staff was very nice and friendly. They have a bar that's not big but convenient. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast did not have a huge selection but served the purpose. I appreciate the amenities such as a luggage cart, complimentary water and coffee all day.

Carpet was very dirty, also dirty Microwave, everywhere inside and out side you can smell smoking or Marijuana. Elevator also was not working, we have to carry our luggage to 3rd floor by stairs. only thing good is Breakfast .

Dirty, smelly, old. Elevator wasn’t working, ice machine was out of order.

Had bteakfast cereal but no milk two mornings in a row😞😞😞
