Absolutely LOVED IT!!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the view from our room was magnificent!

Terrible

No swimming pool, no free WiFi at room, no room service, drinking water system pathetic, you will have to collect two water bottle from reception everytime , if you are thirsty at night, what will happen. They took my money as security deposit at the time of check-in, but have not yet returned even after six days. I am surprised why they were not able to return at the time of check-out. Pathetic situation.

Our check in was not great, it was at 4 pm we arrived at 5:30 front desk said we still had 45min to an hour wait we would receive a call for our room, 1st young lady didn't have good customer service. We stayed at the bar for about an hour and a half no call i went to the front desk and the young lady was super helpful said our room had been ready we were in our room around 7pm.

All these would be acceptable for a 1/2-star hotel; but paying for a 5-star hotel and ending up with this ordeal is unacceptable. I regret staying there and won't do this again.

It was a good stay just waiting for them to release a maintenance fee they charged upon arrival still waiting for that money to be placed back on my card.

Absolutely loved the staff!

The hotel itself was great, they had a large conference there and couldn’t handle the crowds, food and drinks at the Fuel Restaurant took over an hour but the servic

I am absolutely impressed by The Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. Everything from start to finish was top tier. The Fuell Restarant had a fabulous view of the river with exceptional food and drinks. I was instantly pleased with not having to leave the property to enjoy a great meal and cocktails. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. I had the joy of having a view right on the riverfront. I even had the pleasure to use Detroit’s People Mover to commute to Ford Field in less than ten minutes without having to leave out of the hotel, This was an added bonus. I will definitely book my next stay here at this property. I give this property 10/10 rating. Great job for high end service.

It's low down, run down, and the staff is horrible.

The staff here was excellent and parking was very convenient. The best part was the location for the event—it was an easy 20-minute walk to Ford Field, so we didn't have to worry about stadium traffic or rideshares. However, the hotel feels quite outdated, and I was surprised that queen-size beds don't seem to be the standard here. There is also very little to do in the immediate surrounding area. Good if you want a walkable base for the stadium, but the property needs updates.

After the first night, the room was not made up even at 7 pm. Then, I was moved to another room. There was assistance with moving luggage to another room. After the second night, the room was not made up again. After making several complaint calls, the room was cleaned at 8 pm.

Great views of Detroit.

Amazing 😍 check out the outside grass covered roof top

The room was clean and air conditioning working fine
-
Terrible ended up leaving. Reserved a room over a month ago of the river view for fireworks. It didn't get Reserved. If I new i had to pay a head I would of. Paid for an Uber and an Uber back home
-
Great room for Ford Fireworks!
-
Everything was exactly what I expected

Restaurant server and valet attendant were both outstanding! They were friendly, honest and attentive. Huge asset to the hotel. Bathroom sink faucet broke-would not turn off. Tissue box nearly empty and no back up. Lamp on desk not working. Breakfast —poached eggs completely overcooked—like hard boiled eggs; fruit alternative was old.
