The hotel has a beautiful historic feel. Our room was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, with awesome views! Being an older building, there were some gaps around the walls and under the door that allowed quite a bit of hallway noise into the room. The lobby restaurant had a nice ambiance once they turned on our table lamp. The soup of the day wasn’t available because we were told they don’t make it when it’s hot outside, and my wood-fired flatbread was basically dough, marinara, and shredded cheddar. Nothing to write home about, but the drinks were good! Breakfast is $18/person for a buffet, so we skipped it. Overnight valet was $45, and the valet staff were professional and friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic time! A few small things kept it from 5 stars, but I’d happily recommend it and stay again.

Clean, but dated. Super walkable and convenient.

Location was nice, close to the river walk and food. Hotel was dated but still nice, room was dated and needs some work but still decent. The breakfast was not good and way to expensive for the quality. The view from the 25th floor was really nice, but didn't serve dinner (which I believe if you all did figure out a way to serve dinner up there would be a game changer). My room was next to the elevator shaft so I heard that all day and night.

The restaurant food and hours weren’t good

Be aware that if you are parking at the hotel property they only offer valet parking. And if you have a large vehicle Like a heavy duty pickup truck, it's a $70 charge. Average parking is $45.
-
Hot tub bubbles could be stronger and menu and resources to places inside and around the area available in the lobby or in the suite/room directory for easy access for guest especially ones not from here
-
Our stay was amazing! The hotel is elegant and the views are breathtaking. Right in the heart of Detroit where we could move around and explore this wonderful city. I would definitely book here again.
-
On check out you couldn’t use the elevator and I had a diabetic attach and was forced to walk stairs from level ten down and then had to wait for my car to get my insulin. I told them I was about to pass out and they did nothing.

Customer friendly staff!!!

AC went out tried calling hostess twice but no answer. You pay for parking $45 a night. They were going to give me 1 valet parking back to me (from 3 night stay), however we paid up front and the manager never called me back. The property was nice the rooms clean, but no broken AC was an issue and the pool was very cloudy.

Thomas did a great job getting us set up a bit early for check in so we could get to the Tigers game. It was a fantastic stay and a great facility. I will stay again next time I hit Detroit!

View of the river was lovely!

The $45 pet night extra charge for parking was kind of an insult. The pool was very small, and very loud with just 2 kids playing, but manageable. The location was great and he staff was amazing.

Room was spacious modern and comfortable. Will stay again.

The receptionist Jazz was so helpful giving me options where to eat that was in walking distance...Jazz just was so pleasant with her voice made my day ...keep it up Jazz
