The Detroit Club

We'll definitely be staying at the D.C. Hotel again. The staff were personable and attentive. No issues checking in and out. Its a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful "old world" charm. Our room was gorgeous and the bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay here!!

We needed a last minute room to see Rush and the Detroit Club fit the bill perfectly! Reasonable, great location, very nice continental breakfast and helpful employees!

Beautiful historic property that has been meticulously maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast included a good selection of freshly made options. I would highly recommend the Detroit Club.

It was a great stay! The entire place was beautiful and well kept. We ate at the restaurant and the waiter was amazing and the food was SO good. They also have breakfast in the library in the morning and we didn't know that until arrival so that was a nice perk. There is a dress code and being role followers we mace sure to follow it to a T, but many other guests did not. We had a short stay and already wan't to go back so we can take full advantage of the spa and other amenities!

Had a hiccup when we got to the property with our room unlocking but was fixed rather quickly. The library bar was nice to relax and enjoy a drink during happy hour. The waitstaff was very helpful letting us know about the free people mover across the road which was a bonus!! The bed was comfy. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast including egg bites, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt and keurig coffees.

This is a very beautiful hotel! Staff was so helpful. The valet was awesome! Opened the front door every time we went out or in. Restaurant was really good. The esthetic was just so beautiful!

Unique classic facility in the heart of Detroit. Very authentic and worth a stay.

Very cool building in downtown Detroit, lots of historical charm. Comfortable room with updated bathroom, convenient walking distance to comerica park and Greektown areas. Excellent staff and valet.

The hotel was in a great location, was beautiful and well themed on the inside, and I really enjoyed the tub. However, we arrived in the evening after our flight was delayed, and the person checking us in at the front desk did not seem to be in their right mind. She had a difficult time expressing what paperwork I need to complete upon sign in, and was also confused when I asked basic questions (like where breakfast is available at in the morning). I am not sure if she was tired, or if something else was impacting her, but it was strange. Our booking indicated we were supposed to receive a “gift” upon check in which we did not receive. The rest of our stay was perfectly fine. Breakfast was basic (fruits, bagels, muffins, egg bites, and a keurig) but there are a lot of local places within walking distance with good coffee. One thing to note is that the business makes you sign paperwork indicating you will not bring outside food on the premises or you will be charged a fee which I disliked but obeyed because we had already paid for the room. The snacks and drinks in the room itself have to be paid for. Overall, great location for downtown Detroit, beautiful interior, satisfactory breakfast, but questionable policies.

Amazing location in the heart of downtown Detroit. Service and staff were impeccable - everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Room was huge and luxurious. Breakfast selection was decent, but could be better.

We had such an amazing stay! The room was stunning and we enjoyed using the spa. Best time ever!

We spent the weekend for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. Checking in with a glass of champagne, clean room, huge tub, so many amenities!

Bar/Restaurant staff was Top notch!

From the Valet to the front desk to the staff along with the food at the bad, Top-notch, a perfect 10. Oylur room was 10+☆.

Very nice stay, room was comfortable. Great proximity to the people mover.

Beautiful, historical property in downtown Detroit. The rooms were large, relaxing and stocked with amenities. There is a Grotto and spa available to guests. The hotel offered several restaurants and a great bar space called The Library. They offered reasonable food options and craft cocktails. Close to the people mover to get to events. We are talking about a weekend trip to explore the downtown and take better advantage of the amenities offered by Detroit Club.
