Valet parking Location near downtown, but not able to walk around

Everything!!! It felt like 5 star treatment and atmosphere All the construction around the hotel area which has nothing to do with the hotel. That hotel and area is very nice to be cluttered with so much construction around it. Made it hard to navigate as an out of towner. Ruins the asthetic the city has to hurry and get that mess finished

Hotel staff were very nice and the room was very clean, comfortable beds. The valet parking I would not use again. Valet parking was supposed to be a secure parking ramp, however my car was in the same spot when I went to leave in the morning. idn't get parked

Great location. Easy walking distance to Riverwalk, Stadiums, and other downtown activities. Room was nice but a bit small compared to other downtown hotels I've stayed at.

Very convenient and close to little Cesar arena

The staff is friendly and helpful. The best thing is the location, close to events downtown.

- ironing board wouldn’t hold up and would keep falling - shower had grime at the top corners - stains on the walls underneath the AC unit - housekeeping not done even after we asked a cleaning lady only her response to be “this isn’t my floor but I’ll tell them”. Just not a good experience. Plus area, although decent location, is not safe. Too much questionable activity going on in the blocks around it. I definitely won’t stay at an Indigo again

Great location, great room and amazing staff!

We stayed here for two nights. It’s close enough to downtown to be walkable. We walked to and from Comerica Park with ease. Valet service was quick and convenient (cost $40 per night). We booked a King room through Expedia but when checked in we got two double/full beds. The front desk was able to switch us into a king because they had availability. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful. My husband forgot his toothbrush and was able to get both a toothbrush and toothpaste from the front desk. Each guest gets a complimentary Faygo or bag of Bettermaid chips with their stay for a “taste of Detroit” which we thought was cool. We did not visit the Trolley Room during our stay. Likewise, room service was available but we did not use it. The room was clean, and the bed was soft. Not loud within the hotel but Friday night was loud outside the window until about 12:00-1:00 AM. Blackout curtains were in the room. The shower pressure isn’t favorable and depending on the time of day you shower, there may not be much hot water left. I showered in the morning around 8:30/9:00 and the water was lukewarm. Housekeeping staff was friendly. Overall this was a great stay for us and one of the more budget friendly options that stayed close to downtown Detroit.

Excellent place to stay. Right near the people mover and downtown. Easy access to everything! Service was good. Rooms were clean and food was great !

Everything was great. However I wasn’t offered Faygo or better made when I checked in. I noticed others were.

I had a wonderful stay. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with a fantastic view of downtown Detroit. The location was very convenient for exploring the city on foot, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed being able to walk around downtown and then come back to a large, comfortable room with such a great city view. I would happily stay here again.

The room was nice and spacious and everything was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was recently fixed up and clean, but very average. Unfortunately almost all of the hotels in downtown Detroit are not very nice, unless you stay at a five star hotel. I wasn't aware of that going into it, so keep it in mind. I felt perfectly safe walking around during the day as a solo female traveler. At night, it was always busy in town so I'm sure it would be safe as well.

Nice place

Good value in comparison to other options with same access & safety. Tourist hotels come at premium, same as anywhere. I highly reco - just don’t expect a bargain deal - you’ll have to look outside DT. Very much appreciate the hardworking staff and quality of the location/building/rooms.
