Hotel Indigo Detroit Downtown by IHG

Great location. Close to a lot of attractions and dining. I stayed after attending a concert at the Fox Theater. It was perfect!

Avg hotel in good location. Staff was helpful, especially Valets. They were amazing. Room itself was dated and unimpressive. Price was good and probably inline with average condition. We needed an accessible shower and got that, but the bench seat in shower did not work properly and was not stable.

8th floor suite facing a busy street had significant street noise at night…. Cars, music, and occasionally people being loud. Would recommend a room not facing street for those that are light sleepers.

Positive-Robert at the front desk was amazing! Negative- our phone didn’t work. Used our cell to connect to room service, no answer. Walked down and was told there is no room service (the front desk was unaware). Was told our food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. It took 45 minutes and it was cold when we took it to our room. 90.00 wasted on breakfast.

I’m a pretty easy going guy but this room looked like it had seen better days, spots all over the chair and ottoman, dirty floors and encountered one very large roach.

Shoutout to Anthony at the front desk…very helpful!

The hotel is pretty outdated outside the lobby. The room doors had to be slammed shut or pulled shut when leaving. You’d hear that all night long. The valet staff was lazy and didn’t want to really work. I got charged for something both them and I have no clue about. Checking out at 330am was an inconvenience for the desk staff. Overall for the price I paid and the location it should be nicer!

The Staff were all courteous, excellent checking in and checking out. Would stay there again.

Check-in took forever, and the staff cited a third-party reservation as the reason. As we were heading out for the evening, the line to check in was out the door. I've not had this happen before. The room could have been cleaner. The location was perfect for our needs; convenient to all things downtown.
