Westin was a really nice hotel.. amenities were definitely very convenient Starbucks and Sullivans were perfect. Location was great for going out. We definitely plan on going there again… Good job Marriot

Beautiful spacious rooms and great location!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location was convenient, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Detroit!

The front desk was helpful. When I arrived, they said my room was not available for an early check-in, but less than five minutes later, it became available. Strange, but it worked out in my favor. My experience with room service was not ideal. I had a suite and apparently did not hear them knock on the door. So when I called to check on the food an hour later, they said they had thrown it away. Luckily they didn’t charge me. But I would’ve appreciated a call, letting me know somebody was attempting to deliver my food.

The hotel gave my room away without any notification, which was paid in full $1,400. I arrived late in the evening. They made no accommodations, and booking.com just took all of my money. No one answers the customer service phone. I had to find and pay for another hotel room around midnight. The customer service was awful at the Westin, and I got no response from booking.com.

Its in a great Location.

The rooms were nicely decorated and they were clean. The staff was ok, not overly helpful. We also had to transfer rooms in the middle of the night due to noise.

Its conveniently located near many attractions.

I hate this new thing where you can’t control the thermostat in hotels everyone that I stay at in Detroit like this. You said it to 68 and it shut off in the middle of the night and you wake up sweating.

We arrived at the Westin Book Cadillac Detriot VERY late. We left our previous desitation late, ran into traffic, and just all in all - were very behind schedule. We travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children ages 7 & 9). We got to the hotel around 11:30pm. The valet was very friendly - but when we asked for a luggage cart, they had to go get security to unlock them, as they are kept under lock and key at all times. Our valet told my husband that he could not help with the luggage, but that he "had my husband's back) to ensure he could safely unload our luggage. When we entered the hotel, we tried to find a restroom before checking in, as we had been in the car for many hours and my 7 year old needed to go. Restrooms on the main floor - yes. But locked after 11pm. Registration is located on the second floor. Our check-in process was very quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The next day - we learned that there was a large party happening at our hotel. When we came back to the hotel after dinner, we had to wait in a long line to check our car into the Valet. Then we had to wait in line to get into the hotel, as the partying was starting. The entire party took up the first floor, all of the "lobby" space near registration and the elevators. We couldn't go down to the swimming pool without walking through this party. Very disappointing for my children, as we were confined to our room for the rest of the evening.

It was a great experience with beautiful old building that was kept well.

The staff was super nice and the room was immaculate. I will definitely be back!

Location was perfect. So many great food options close by. Nice hotel.
