The hotel smelled like smoke the second I walked in. My room also smelled like smoke. I switched rooms but it still smelled like smoke. Furniture in the room was damaged. Carpet old and stained. The hotel needs to be updated badly. I think the smoke smell is stuck in the walls and carpet. The area around the hotel felt unsafe. With it being by a college I thought it would be a good area, but it was surrounded by panhandlers.

I booked two rooms. Upon arrival I was pleased to find them to be adjoining rooms. However we couldn’t use the adjoining doors as one was very hard to unlock. Once we got it unlocked we still could not open as it seemed to have been stuck. We never called staff or maintenance to fix. We had two grown sons in the adjoining room. We just used regular entry doors if we wanted to communicate with them.

Room with a king bed was a good size. It was a little musty, but bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean. Shower had shampoo and conditioner installed on the wall. There was bar soap for the sink and for the shower/tub. Staff were kind and efficient. Breakfast was good - hot scrambled eggs and sausage links, waffle maker, cereal, coffee, pastries, etc.

Location only! No microwave in our room, after reporting a dirty tub, no action was taken, the bed was very uncomfortable, the room dark (not well lit), and it wasn’t a comfortable stay. There was no urgency to ensure we were comfortable.

The bed was comfortable, so although it didn’t get 5 stars across the board, it met our needs as we traveled and an overnight stay. Just did not like Dover at all! Sketchy area.

The room smelled very old. The carpet needs to be replaced. We had to go purchase air fresheners for the room. Not happy about spending money on a room when they should be fresh

I didn't like some of the motorcycle rides around the building making a lot of noise all day and night to 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning

I liked the pool, and wild cats in the back very friendly, it’s literally near just about anything you need. Mall,Casino,Target ect. Free breakfast in the morning kept well stocked. And the employees are amazing. The morning breakfast lady was fantastic. Said good morning everyday and kept the dining area clean. Me and my wife had a wonderful stay. Nothing i have zero complaints.
